Got back late Monday evening. I still don't have alot of online time...gotta do the yard, finish washing clothes, just ya know...getting back into the swing of things.

However...if anyone would like to ask me anything about how our vacation went, feel free. Overall we had a great trip but there were a few complaints and observations that I don't have time to go into right now.

We stayed at the Pop Century for 6nights/7days.

Used the dining plan for 2 adults, 1 child (age 9) and 1 junior (age 16--also considered an adult) Our 21month old was free at most places.

Places we ate at:

Breakfast: 1900 Park Fare, CRT, Chef Mickey's
Lunch or Dinner: Hollywood and Vine, Ohana's, Le Cellier, Teppanyaki (Japan in Epcot), Alfredo's di Roma (Italy in Epcot)
Dinner Show: Mickey's Backyard Barbecue

We used Magical Express on the way *back* to the airport. (I still can't believe they call is "magical"...what a crock!...anyway, I'll stop before I go off on a rant)

Let's see..what else...hmmm...well, there's too much to go into but if you'd like to ask any questions...I'll be more than happy to share.

Once again...overall, our trip was GREAT though the crowds were heavier than I expected. We have gone in August and July and out of those three months...August was the best crowd-wise. So if you plan on going in June, expect heavy crowds.

Oh goodness, what I would do to live at WDW! Oh well, back to reality. LOL

Hi, :wave2:

2 questions:
1) How was Teppanyaki? We are considering it for lunch one day?
2) We are taking Magical Express back to the airport only. (Flying into TPA to visit relatives beforehand.) What was unmagical about it?

Thanks!!

Welcome back to reality!!!! How was Mickey's Backyard BBQ? Thanks glad you had a great time!

Teppanyaki was GREAT! My cousin, who is not adventurous when it comes to eating different things, had to admit that I was right to book it. LOL I kept reminding her of how great it was the rest of the trip. Yeah, I know...I shouldn't say "I told you so" but I couldn't help it. LOL

I would say...get a PS! :)

ME...hmm...let's see.

First off, they picked us up at 5:40am for a 10:00am flight. We were at the airport FOUR hours before departure. We had to get up at 4:45am in order to make the bus. (we have a baby so mornings are hectic for us)

Then we had to check out before getting the bus 'cause we weren't going to be in our room to do the express checkout. The lady at the front was "earning her ears" and in training so it took longer than it should have. My cousin and I were about 3minutes late getting to the bus even though we were "literally" running.

The driver scolded us like children and said in a rude loud voice..."you are late ladies...late!" And shakes his head as if to say "spoilded children."

Let me tell you, this is not what I needed at 5:43am in the morning!

Then we get to the airport and get off the bus. As we are getting off the bus, the driver is announcing to everyone..."what? no tips for the driver?" (in a loud, obnoxious way)

I just can't believe that Disney partnered up with Mears, a very unprofessional company if you ask me.

And finally...Mickey's BBQ. Hmm...how do I say this? Save your money or table service options. Now that I've done all three of the dinner shows, I can honestly say this was our least favorite. Though the food was GREAT! lol

Welcome back! It's tough to get back into the "swing" of things, isn't it?! Hope you had a nice trip! :flower:
