Day 8, Port Canaveral cont.:
We got to stay on the ship which was kind of weird feeling. We didn't see anyone else doing the same thing. We did see a lot of work going on. The ship never smelled so clean. If you were outside and a door opened, you could smell the clean! We tried to stay out of everyone's way as much as possible. The pools and hot tubs were closed. We brought some snacks with us and went to deck 10 all the way forward and watched the all the buses leave and the new passengers arrive. The first bus pulled at 10:50 AM. We had to check in with Guest Services around 11:30 AM. The person doing it, didn't know what she was doing and had to look at a book to do it. I told her what she need to take from our documents. It all worked out and we had our new KTTW cards.
We found that we were assigned the same rotation as before, PLAPLAP. We wanted to try to have the same servers as the week before. We went to Sessions to have everything changed. We got the Lumier's rotation, but not our past servers, their station was full. We got Dwight and Rudy. They were very good as well. Tonight was our 11th anniversary. They brought us a cake in the dining room.
Day 9, At sea:
We had our DVC reception at Off Beat and got lots of free DVC logo stuff!
We also arranged to have a wine party this cruise. Since no one had a large enough cabin, we had it on secret deck 7. This was a great location. We again, had a great time with our fellow DIS'rs.
This was formal night and again we dressed up.
The dessert buffet was tonight. They did not open early for pictures. Everything looked good.
Day 10, At sea:
We had brunch at Palo this morning. Gabrielle was our server. She and the food were very good. We also had our Castaway reception today. There weren't as many past passengers as the last cruise. It was not a full ship.
Kaleigh woke up, that's it for now.
