My husband and I returned home this past Saturday, 12/07, from 8 nights at WDW. We stayed two nights at AoA and six nights at POFQ. This was our 17th trip and we were not worrying about seeing/doing everything.

When we arrived at AoA at around noon, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our room (king room as requested) was ready. We stayed in Little Mermaid building 7 and I did not find the walk to the food court or to the bus stop to be too far.

We moved to POFQ on Sunday. Could not have been easier. Bell services at AoA picked up our luggage Sunday morning. My husband and I went to the parks and when we got to POFQ Sunday afternoon we called bell services there and they delivered the luggage to our room (building four as requested). We've done this several times and have never had a problem. Waits for buses (and for boat at POFQ) were no problem at all - 15 minutes was, I believe, the longest we had to wait and that was just once.

We had no issues with our magic bands and were able to change our FP+ on the fly with our iPhones. We were also able to pull paper fast passes with our room keys - I tried it with both the AoA key and the POFQ keys.

Biggest disappointment was lunch at Be our Guest. I was lucky enough to get FP+ reservation for Saturday, 11/30, at 2:00. My husband and I split the roast beef sandwich and fries. The fries were fine, but the beef was fatty and just not tasty. The strawberry cupcake, on the other hand, was very good. We sat in the room where the statue of Belle and the Beast rotates in the center. It was dirty, loud, and just not what I imagined it would be. Maybe it was just me expecting more.

My husband rented an ECV from Apple and that worked out well. He did have to have it swapped out on Monday - the battery would not hold a charge - but they came directly to DHS and met us at the main gate. They were there with a replacement within 30 minutes. Over the eight days, there was only one incident regarding the ECV. We were at Animal Kingdom, going through the Pangani Trail and there was a point where my husband could not go through. He said "excuse me", but the young woman who was blocking his way with a double stroller (which was empty - the children were walking) said "I am not moving". Her husband told her that someone on an ECV needed to get past, but she still would not move - said "I know". Her husband moved, and a group of others moved, then my husband was able to get by. Just don't understand some people - that little bit of space (maybe six inches) or so must have been really important to her...

All in all we had a great vacation and are already starting to think about our next trip.
