Well, I'm back after a 2 1/2 week trip on the Wonder and at Disney (including boring drive time)

I guess I'm not surprised, but I gained 5 pounds!! I say I'm not surprised b/c usually I gain less than a pound, but I'm usually MUCH more active. This time, with my parents and their recent knee/back problems, we really slowed things down. Whereas usually I don't step foot in an elevator on the cruise, I found myself waiting for them many times so I could ride with my parents. Instead of making bee-lines to our favorite ride across the park, we usually had more leisurely strolls (stopping many times for rests and...food!)

So I'm back on the bandwagon again. Went back to Curves for the first time in about 3 1/2 weeks. They had a construction paper tree with stockings around it for the six biggest LOSERS since our Curves opened (April) I nearly screamed when I saw I had a stocking!!!
I'm not THE biggest loser, but I'm the SECOND biggest loser!! WOW!!!!

So I'm back, ready to jump into my lifestyle and the WISH board again!

God bless!

Welcome back! You will drop those 5 pounds soon, I'm sure. Glad you enjoyed your vacation.

You may have picked up a few extra lbs, but I'm sure you made some wonderful memories too. The lbs will be gone in no time. The memories will last forever. :)

Congrats on being such a loser at Curves! ;)

Glad you had a great time on vacation!! Those 5 pounds will just melt away soon enough!! :)

ohioskinnyminnie ;)

you were on vacation gracious! it's OK!!!! i returned back from my trip about 8 lbs heavier and still have 6 lbs to go. But i'm not stressing or really even trying until Jan 2. I started to get all fixated and then remembered that this season is once a year and there is enough stress in my life without adding more (i.e. my frig died and I can't order one until tomorrow at the earliest and I host the Christmas Eve lunch!! )

anyhow, this is not my sob-story; it's yours!:teeth:

You are fine! OMGOSH you had the second biggest loss at CURVES! you so totally rock!

Have a wonderful merry christmas Karen - you have worked sooooo hard this year and come sooooo far!!! i'm very very proud of you:wave2:

Welcome back and it sounds like you had a wonderful vacation. Those extra pounds will be gone in no time, there is no need to stress yourself out over them. You did a great thing by going back to Curves and then what a wonderful thing to see your stocking on the wall as the 2nd biggest loser. WAY TO GO!!!! Keep up the great work and you said it right, it is a lifestyle:D .

Welcome back ohiominnie, it sounda like you had a great time. Don't sweat the 5lbs as long as you get back OP they will be gone in no time.

Congratulations on getting that stocking that is awesome news :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Don't feel bad at all, we just got back from 10 days on the Magic and the parks and our score is at least as bad as yours!
No way to avoid it!

So happy to hear you had a wonderful trip and made lots of memories - that is the important part!! The extra pounds you brought home will be gone and forgotten in no time!

Congrats on your big losses at Curves!! :bounce: You should be so proud of you!!

Welcome back ohiominnie! I gained 5 pounds when I got back from WDW as well but they have since disappeared... well most of them anyway, I had a slight gain but it wasn't 5 pounds. Good for you for getting back on track and I'll bet the weight will be gone before you know it :)
