Hello,

I will be visiting DL solo in early september.

I will be solo.

Is there a plan i should follow as to not be waiting in line.

I have 3 full days and am not staying onsite.

I am hoping to be there for opening everyday.

With Disneyland park do i hit fantasyland first and get all that out the way?
And with California adventure i know to do RS first but then what?

Thanks!

When in early September? Labor Day weekend is also when the Disneyland Half Marathon takes place and HalloweenTime is likely to start in early September (best guess is between September 12 and 18). Also, will you be there on a weekday (Mon to Thu) or weekend (Fri to Sun)?

Make use of the Single Rider Line whenever possible.

A lot of this depends on whether you are going to the park with EMH/MM or not and which attractions you want to do. If you're getting there at rope drop, I would probably head to the popular rides that do not have SRLs or FPs. So, assuming you're not going to DCA when it has EMH, I would start with TSMM because it does not have a SRL or FPs and tends to be very popular. RSR has both FP and a SRL. Over in DL, assuming you're not going to EMH/MM, I would start with either Space (no SRL, but it does have FPs) or Peter Pan (no FP or SRL and tends to be very popular).

I have a related question: Has anyone compared the touring plans of TouringPlans.com and DLRPrepSchool?
I haven't subscribed to TouringPlans - I figured I wait until it was closer to our trip to get one of the shorter memberships - but I did try to use their site to come up with a plan.

I haven't used any touring plans site, but most reports I've read for any of them (Touring Plans, RideMax, DLRPrepSchool) are kind of hit or miss. Unless you're on a really tight schedule (three days, isn't really that tight), I probably wouldn't bother using a commercial (i.e., paid) site.

I bought a subscription to Touring Plans, mostly for the crowd calendar predictions not the scheduling. I made a few plans just for the sake of having a guideline of sorts, but when we got there all the plans went out the window and we went on something that looked awesome with a short line, got a fastpass for something in that land or an adjoining one, went on a short line ride in the area... If a ride had too long of a line, we hit it the next morning or in the evening right before closing which is when we were able to walk right on all the Fantasyland rides. We tried to save the shows for the warm and busy middle of the day and shopped then and at night after closing on Main Street. And if you miss something appealing, you'll have saved a surprise for your next trip!

Solo will make it very easy to avoid lines. Single rider as other posters have mentioned will be your best friend.

For DL at opening yes FL is the best bet unless there is an EMH for onsite guests that day. If you have a MM with your 3 day pass than use it the first day if possible (If your first day is a DL EMH day) and then start at the park that doesn't have EMH the other two days.

My full days in the park will be wednesday, thursday, friday.

First week in september.

Yes i will be avoiding the extra magic hours. So i will do the park that doesnt have EMH.

I have extended my subscription to touring plans but what i am hearing they arent always right.

They have already upped the crowd levels for september in WDW.

I went on the recommendation that first week in september would be quiet. But looking on here, i get the vibe that it will be slighly busier.

If i would have known i would have gone the following week.

I have planned three full days in disneyland then fly to orlando for ten nights in WDW.
