Baby's first trip to the world...my first TR w/lots of pics!!

Hi! I have just finished your first page. Your family is precious! Cole asleep on your shoulder--so sweet. And the boys are cute looking at the map--I could see my boys doing that!

Thanks for taking the time to share! :flower3: I'm excited to continue reading!

:welcome: Glad you are here. Always happy to have new readers. Thanks for the compliments.

How's Cole? Hope you're hanging in there too.

Cole is doing much better. Today was his second day of no temp. Still has a stuffy nose but he is starting to act more like himself all the time. I'm just trying to get him back on his schedule. Being sick always seems to throw off their sleep schedule. I'm doing better now too. Ready for him to be back to normal schedule for my sake as well though, lol. Thank you so much for asking.

Hey Dylan and Blakes Mom ooo and Coles mama lol. I hope Cole is feeling better...As well as everyone else in your family. Hope to see you posting soon. xoxo:thumbsup2

I'm missing your updates! Hoping everyone is better and you will start writing again!!!

OK, so I'm finally able to do another update. So sorry about it taking me so long. It seems like things have been non stop since Easter. With Cole getting sick, planning his first bday party:sad1: and the boys' end of the year school activities, it has been a whirlwind.

Anyway, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR STICKING WITH ME!:flower3:

After we left the Lego store I stopped to feed Cole while the boys looked around some and then we headed to the World of Disney store:cool1: On the way we saw these ladies doing some chalk drawings on the sidewalk.

Then we saw this!

Then we were off to Once Upon a Toy

I tried to talk them into doing the stuff the box with potato head parts thing but they wanted to save their money for "cooler" things. :sad2: I thought about doing it myself but decided to pass.

We then found what they had been waiting all week for...Build Your Own Lightsaber! I had told them about this in advance so they were very excited to finally get to do it. I started to try and help them but got lost and quickly realized this was a job for their dad and them.

I don't know why I don't have a pic of their finished lightsabers on here as I know I have one somewhere but oh well. They both made the Darth Maul one ( so they say:confused3 ) with the saber on both ends and different parts in the center to tell them apart.

Then Jerry saw a sign that said if you buy $50 worth of Star Wars merchandise you got a collector coin set for $10 I think or maybe it was even free I don't remember. Anyway, since they both did the lightsaber's for $20 each we just had to find something for around $10. We ended up with a small stuffed Ewok for Cole, and of course the collector coin set-for Jerry.

Just some random shots...

I thought this shirt was really cute

If uou can't read it it says Darth Tater at the top and I am your father (to a french fry) at the bottom:)

CONTINUED............

I'm not positive exactly what we did after we left here. I know they played outside at the water jet things for quite awhile while I fed Cole. Then we went into several different shops and looked around at a lot of things. Jerry really impressed me while we were at Downtown Disney. He didn't really complain or rush us the whole time which is big for him because normally he HATES shopping (that is of course unless it's electronics, tools or car parts)

Anyway, we finally found our way to Goofy Candy Store. The boys and I were all really looking forward to this place because I really wanted to do the create your own treat thing and they wanted to create their own slushie cup which both things I had known about before and allowed extra money for.

We had a good time with this mirror. We must have played in front of it for at least half and hour. I know, we're dorks.

Here are some of the shots from that:

It was then time to leave DTD. We thought about eating at Planet Hollywood but it looked REALLY packed so we decided against it. Here is a pic we got on the way out though

We headed back to the resort to order pizza and turn in for the night.

Here we are with our finished creations that were oohhhh soooo yuummmyy!!

Dylan's was marshmallows dipped in chocolate and then coated with crushed m&m's

Great updates! Love the mirror pictures! I attempted to do the build-your-own-lightsaber thing too (husband was not with us) and was very happy when a 12 year old :confused3 (he looked 12) came and helped us. If he hadn't done that, we still would be there trying to figure it out. :lmao: Did the boys get a free Star Wars pin for making lightsabers?

LOL. Those things are hard to build. I would've still been there also had it not been for hubby. Yes, I forgot, they did get little Vader pins for building them. THanks for reminding me.

By the way the picture of Cole in the mirror is sooo cute lol... is head looks funny.....i think i have a pic of me and my sister from that mirror. its very funny.:rotfl:

Your pictures are great. I love that all of you are in a lot of them. I usually carry the camera so I am usually left out of our "family" pictures.

Looks like you had a great time.

I just found your TR. I'm only up to page 4 so I still have some reading to do. I LOVE the shirts!!! Once I got to the part where you said you used the DISign thread I went looking for it, but I can't find it. For whatever reason, I keep getting "error on page" when I search. It's probably just me. I'd love to know where you found them, etc. I plan to try and convince my family to wear matching shirts. I tried it once and they all had such a look on their face the entire day.:rotfl:

:welcome:
