They hatched and seem to be doing fine. Mama junco is very protective and sits nearby in a tree making all sorts of noise. I'll try to get another picture in a week to show you all how they have grown. This is so cool to me. I've never seen birds hatch before but love bird-watching.

Would love to have seen the pic, but sometimes I get little boxes with no pictures. This is one of those times.

I'm sure they are cute.

What do you know after replying I can see one of the pic's. The nest looks pretty full.
 
So the second picture is really of mama bird sitting on the eggs, right? We don't see any baby birdies in there, do we? (not wearing my glasses - please excuse me)
 

Those are the babies crammed in the nest. It's hard to tell where one stops and the other starts. I'll try to get another picture when they are a little more grown...or maybe hungry and all poking their heads out.

They are so cute!

A couple years ago we had a robin make a nest in my hanging basket. Needless to say, my flowers died, but the birds grew up and flew away!
