MeMom ---- I just finished reading ALL of your trip report on my 8 hour shift at work ( didn't do much work HA HA ) but I wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed it. You have brought tears to my eyes on several occasions just commenting about your children and grandbaby about how much you appreciate them and love them and how thankful you are. I think we all take things for granted in life. We definitely need to appreciate a lot of things more often, and you have made me remember that. Thank you. I take my two children and my wonderful husband for granted everyday but I do love them more than anything. I can't wait to hear about your upcoming trip. And I am looking forward to my upcoming trip with my family in December even more so now.

but until then take care and god bless you.
Thank you for your sweet thoughts. I'm glad you are enjoying the report/reports. We enjoy reliving and sharing our good times with other Disney crazy people. I hope you will continue to enjoy reading along on the next two trips. After that, I'll be depending on you and others to get me through whatever long period of time I don't get to go. This year has been a once in a lifetime opportunity, but I know it will be coming to an end after our July trip, and I am already sad when I think about it.
declansdad - The treehouses used to be opened for guests, but then for several reasons, they were changed to house CMs, not guests. There have been many rumors surrounding tearing them down and putting up new resorts. One thread I saw recently said they were going to be torn down and rebuilt as better treehouses and rented out again, but who knows? They're cool to see along the boat ride, since they are one of the less-known details of Disney. If you do a search on here and on
youtube, you'll find more information on them.
At All Star Movies, we shopped, of course.
Every gift shop has cool decorations. I want the job of being a Disney resort decorator.
Is it okay to say 'cool' these days?
I guess I'm revealing being stuck in a time warp.
At least maybe it's better than saying 'groovy' or 'rad' or 'neato'.
At my school, everything that is cool, groovy, rad, or neato is now know as 'tight'. 'That's tight' is a common phrase.
Time for food. (Isn't it always? Do you guys think we eat ALL the time? We do.)
Isn't that an awesome looking food court with all the lights? You can stuff yourself and feel like a star all at once!
ASMovies chairs. Look at the filmstrip backs. So cool.
Off to the playground to run around.
I have a little shadow that goes in and out with me,
And what can be the use of him is more than I can see...
Did you ever have to recite this poem at school?
I did, but that's all of it that I can recall.
Pictures around the resort.
We'll be at this very place at this time next week, and I coincidentally came to these pictures at this point in the report. How cool, neato, groovy rad......man
Tight, even!
I know I will feel safe here, as the place is heavily and securely guarded.
Some familiar friends.
From this angle, it looks like she's got Woody hooked by the nose with that staff!
Let's see if Andy's room is clean.
Dalmations area. Note the bones in the sidewalk.
Brooklynn stopped for her Disney TV debut.
Actually, she had no earthly idea what she was doing in that box.
Hugging the puppy, however, came naturally.
Hanging out with Goofy.
The puck stops here. Ha. (You did 'ha'....didn't you?)
No.
Okay. I'm done.
I'm just in a
goofy mood, since I know that at this time next week, I will be right there!!!
Then we went back to the room for Brooklynn to get a nap before we headed out for the evening.
