Baby and the Tramp...and a Pop (half) Century! Where Did It Go???

I just got caught up again! Brooklynn is adorable in her little striped outfit! Also so adorable with the pink Power Ranger! We just got my DD the Minnie costume with sparkly yellow shoes for Halloween. The Alice one is so sweet! Can't wait to see pics! I'm so sad that our mini trips do not overlap! Maybe another time

I thought the Minnie was SO cute. I wanted to get her that, but Jill wanted to do Alice. I think she decided there would be fewer Alices than Minnies.

Yeah, it's too bad about our trips, but hopefully another time. Have fun at the Grand Floridian. I will look forward to visiting there at Christmas to see the decorations.

We`ve asked about riding up front the last 2 visits,,hasnt happend yet,,We`ll keep trying! We saw the water parade on our first trip in May 05..We were on the boat on the way back from the Hoop-dee-doo musical,,,it was a nice surprise because we`ve never heard of it..One of those little magical moments that sooo neat!

So, do we get pictures of Tinkerbell/Alice in Wonderland today? Not that I can see them here at work, because all I get is stupid boxes with X in them. Makes me frustrated to be reading a trip report and want so badly to see the pictures, but I have to wait until I get home. On top of that, the computer at home is sick, and maybe fading out, so I guess we'll be buying a new one soon, because I gotta have my daily Dis fix.

All last week I said, "Four weeks from today, we'll be ......." But today, I would have to say that four weeks from today we'll be BACK home and it'll be all over, and that's too sad to speak. So, I'll change my vocabulary to, "Three weeks from today we'll be two days away from going!" How's that?

Everybody have a good Monday. As good as they can be, anyway. Keep in mind Glendamax, tiggerbell, and others who are traveling. I haven't checked, but I hope the weather is being good to them, and I pray for safe travel for all of them.

We're hoping to be able to meet a big group of Disers at Liberty Tree Tavern at 3:45 on the 5th. If anyone is going to MNSSHP on the 4th, let us know. Be sure to wave to us on the crowd if you're out there. We'll be certain to have something that has our Dis names on them on our bags or shirts or something.

I am still enjoying your TR!!! The pictures are so very cute!

My DD and I are heading to WDW this Thurs. (13-16) for a long weekend. We are doing a couple of dismeets...Meeting Glendamax and Eeyore's Tiara and her girls. . Hopefully we will meet some others.... I just can't wait. My DD is super excited. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we are flying standby (hopefully not getting bumped too much ). Thanks to my Dsis who works for an airline. .

This is the first time I have ever traveled without DH . It will be a bit different...being the only responsible one .

I am feeling a bit guilty leaving DS and DH behind but we are all going in Oct for 10 fabulous days!!! Cannot wait for that either. We will be celebrating our 20th!

Not sure if I will do a little TR from this weekend or wait and combine the two. I guess it depends on how nuts my life becomes when I return.

You girls will have fun. Definitely come back and share your pictures. Think of me when you're Soarin' over the orange groves and the ocean and the snow-capped mountain..and don't get hit with the golf ball! Have a great time! We'll be there in three weeks. I'm sorry our trip will be finished before yours gets started. We'll meet someday, I guess, because I plan to go back many more times in the future, and I figure you do, too.

Did I mention we found a place to stay in Perry, as you suggested? A friend of mine who loves in Warner Robins said that would be better than WR because it's right off the interstate. She offered her house to spend the night, but I told her we were comig in later than she wanted to stay up and leaving earlier than she wanted to get up. A few short hours of sleep and we're back on the road, because this is a short, packed trip!

I enjoy reading trip reports, also. I especially enjoy seeing the pictures. When I see them, I can picture myself standing at the same spot or riding the same ride or eating the same food. It keeps my heart in my happy place when my body can't be there! I just got 5 new students yesterday, and believe me, I was ready to get in a plane and fly very quickly to that happy place at the end of the day!!! The only thing that's keeping me going right now is knowing that in three weeks I'll be headed that way again. I'm really looking forward to the new and improved Haunted Mansion. And I'm especially thrilled for Jill to be able to spend her birthday in Disney World, because I sure can't think of anywhere she'd rather be.

Computer line glitches at my house prevented me from Dising last night, so I was less than happy. The cable guy is coming today, so hopefully it'll be an easy fix. My luck - probably not! Oh well, man lived without computer for years before us, so I guess I can live without it for a while if I have to.

THREE WEEKS FROM TODAY!!! Three weeks from today, at the end of the school day, I will be steering my car NOT toward home, but toward Huntsville to hook up with my girls. We will waste no time in getting the car loaded and on the road, I assure you. We're making one stop for a short night's sleep, so that when we arrive in Disney World we'll be refreshed and ready to tackle our long and busy day. This is the trip that was not planned, so it is extra exciting for me. Along with just getting to go again, it'll be our first MNSSHP and our first time in October, so it'll be a different experience than any other time we've been.

Okay, I've got to go run off a Math homework assignment. It is a beautiful morning here in Tennessee, with finally a break in the hot weather. This morning, it was cool enough to give us a little taste of fall, and fall is my favorite season, so I'm liking it! As soon as my computer at home is fixed, I'll be ready to put up our evening at Epcot. Have a great day all!

Yeah, we've been back for four weeks. You were gone when I wrote about getting pencil stabbed by one of my little angels. The girl in the class next to me (she and I do a lot of team teaching) has a student whose mom has a bunch of what looks like satanic symbols tattooed all over her, and he's a very different kind of kid. He refuses to do what he's asked to do, and today he said he wanted to stab himself with a fork at lunch so he could die and not go to school. One of our students slapped a parent in the parking lot yesterday. Quite a fun job, I must say! Yep, we're back in full swing. You...well, you were too busy enjoying your trip to Disney World to know what was going on out here in Reality World! Go back...run as fast as you can! It's much nicer there! Insert "running very quickly" smilie here!

Man -- Memom -- that is terrible... What the heck kind of world do we live in. Just yesterday I was mourning over 9/11 ( i was in NYC that day -- but thank God 30 blocks from the site) -- and to think.... that we have to worry about the people in our back yards.. I hate to say it... But Please be careful at school this year... and look forward to the fabulous times you are going to have at disney - you totally deserve it ...
