I got some seeds for my garden over the weekend. Even though I can't plant them for at least 2 1/2 months. But considering we've completly skipped winter I may be able to plant them sooner.

Now, see, when I'm at AK, I'm on Expedition Everest. And when I'm at MK, I'm zoomin' around on Big Thunder. I like to fly like my hair's on fire.

Despite the snowy forecast for the next 48 hours around here, we've officially entered mud season and all the roads have been closed to heavy vehicles. I'm hopeful for early spring, including planting! Can you start them indoors?

Actually, where we are now, the cabinets are just a nice light pine with that black wrought-iron-look hardware, and my fridge is stainless steel, thank you very much!! But, when we lived here (NH) before in our own house, when we bought it, the cabinets had been dark walnut but were painted off-white over it, and that kitchen came with a nice harvest gold fridge (and Bicentennial 1776 wallpaper!! ). The avocado green was the living-room carpet.... Somewhere I have pics of that...I should dig them out and post a few.

I just did the math (since DH was upset at tax time that I failed to log my mileage for everything last year...) for my assignments so far this year and I've managed to have already driven 129.4 miles for assignments since the start of the year.

Wow. Doesn't seem like that much for 13 assignments, especially since most of them are just a few miles from my house.
