I got some seeds for my garden over the weekend. Even though I can't plant them for at least 2 1/2 months. But considering we've completly skipped winter I may be able to plant them sooner.

Winter is arriving here tonight and will stay tomorrow as well.

Now, see, when I'm at AK, I'm on Expedition Everest. And when I'm at MK, I'm zoomin' around on Big Thunder. I like to fly like my hair's on fire.

Despite the snowy forecast for the next 48 hours around here, we've officially entered mud season and all the roads have been closed to heavy vehicles. I'm hopeful for early spring, including planting! Can you start them indoors?

Isn't it funny you are complaining of 90's light cabinets and I would kill for such an update. I still have the ugly 70's dark wood. Oh and when we bought the house 18 years ago, it came with a harvest gold fridge. That was the 1st to go.

Well there has not been much to share. Snowmobile trails around here have not been good. March 1st comes and winter decides to arrive.

Well, its official.......I am sick. I have been denying this for three weeks now. I thought I was getting better. Hubby even took me out on Saturday. Monday it all came back with a vengence. So today I finally decided I have had enough and went to the doctor. Why is it when a doctor tells you that you ARE sick......that's when you start to feel really sick? I have Broncitus (?) with that awful barky cough. Both ears are red and my sinuses are a mess. Oh yeah, I have a fevor too. Believe me.....I actually felt worse walking out of the office than I did walking in.

SadieDog....We are in the upper 70's low 80's. (Friday was 90. ) I am just very thankful that all of the bad weather keeps missing us. I love a good thunderstorm but with the weather the way it is... those usually turn nasty. And pollen is falling like crazy. All of the pine trees are loaded with the stuff. (Which probably has something to do with me being sick.)

...apparently, we had a MAJOR setback this morning. My DH was washing something on the sink and some water dropped onto the front of the cabinet door - well, the paint/glaze/striping began to run! So, now he has to re-strip the glaze off the doors, polyurethane them, and re-install them!

Oh no. I'm sorry. You ARE sick. Take it easy and do as little as possible.

I can't imagine it being that warm right now. Pollen sure does not help the situation.

Evenin' Nanners! How's everyone? Snowing like nuts here....started after lunch. They've upped the expected totals to 7-12" + (we'll probably be in the "plus" due to our elevation.)

My Nook shipped today!!! Hoping it's here by the weekend.

I don't like to transplant. I don't have much luck so I wait till mid-May.

But!....I don't have to go to work!! It'll stink having a short paycheck tomorrow but worth it to not have to go out and drive in this stuff. They aren't doing a whole lot with the roads; the plow goes by now and then but it builds up good in between.

It's a good day to get all the laundry and cleaning done before the weekend!

Snow is starting to come down harder here. No school today which also means I am not working today. That is NOT good. Since she worked 3rd shift last night, I was going to pick up the little guy and take him home with me so she could sleep. Since all 4 kids are home, there won't be much sleeping going on. I really should try to get a lot done in the house today.
