Morning Smilie! Morning everyone!

So just when I thought I had it all figured out, I get a notification this morning that my Nook order has been delayed due to exceptional demand. :headache: They "hope" to be able to ship by next Monday but if I prefer to cancel they understand and I can do so on the site.

This is not good news to an indecisive person!!!!!!!!:sad2:

My options are:
*Wait it out and "hope" they do ship next Monday
*Cancel the order and get a Kindle instead
*Cancel the order and register for the Tower of Terror 10-miler race in Sept.

Good. Freakin'. Grief.

.

Are you getting it cheaper buy ordering it on line? Or is there no where to buy it near by? I have had mine for a while now and I LOVE IT!!

"Nearby" is at least an hour away. I'm back in the land of nothing.

OMIGOSH!

Sadie - are you watching the race???

What a bizarre night!

And Juan Pablo Montoya's wreck... WHAT THE HECK????

Worst Daytona 500. Started on a Monday and ended on Tuesday. I fell asleep before the last 40 laps. I can't stay awake at night with a 2 hour delay. I don't even like night races. I like my sleep. :lmao:

Honestly I think it's exactly the same!! It's one of those that gets refurbished when needed but never changed. I could be wrong (Mean Queen could probably tell us) but I think it's the same show as ever! I just have no interest in it. I'm not a "show" kind of person in general. I like Philharmagic and the Muppets, but those are 3D movies. I'd rather do a ride. :upsidedow

.....but not that ride!!.....

:rotfl:

My family is not into shows either. Last trip I made myself see Lion King at AK. No way would my kids even consider it. They took off for Kali RR instead. I have not seen Philharmagic or Fantasmic. If they are worth it, maybe next trip. DHS is the least favorite park for all of us. My family would be happy doing Toy Story, Rock N Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror and leaving. Possibly Backlot Tour too.

I can't handle Mission Space. Me + that = not good.

Kudos to those who can handle it.

I wish the race would get started so I can glue myself to my chair.

No way would I do Mission Space. My husband and son rode it our 1st trip. They liked it, but didn't want to do it again during our 2nd trip.

I'd wait until Monday for the shipping update, but it sounds like that might drive you crazy. :rotfl:

Country Bear Jamboree is the same as it ever was. I have one friend who hates it with a passion, so we never go when she's with us. We go when we feel like having a seat in the a/c and watching some very old school Disney.

Actually I don't really remember it so I guess it doesn't matter if it changed or not. :rotfl2: My family went on 1 Disney trip and that is when I was 6. That's when I saw it. I remember I liked it or did I just like taking a break from the sun and heat? :confused3 Ok, maybe I should give it another try.

...soooooo, this is my kitchen so far:

....I can't wait until it's DONE already....

OH. MY. GOODNESS!!!!! THAT IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN I HAVE EVER SEEN. :goodvibes

I know you will be very happy when it is done. :thumbsup2

...I thought I had a 'before' pic, but I can't find it....the cabinets were a natural light oak color, with the counter and backsplash a neutral laminate [Formica]. We're getting a granite counter and my DS is going to tile the backsplash, so I'm pretty stoked....the floor will get a large [18" x 18"] tile too.

You must REALLY be excited since you are repeating yourself. :lmao:

Does sound like its going to be really nice though. I'm excited for you. :goodvibes

The ILs joined us for a few days of our '06 trip. MIL insisted we all go see the Lion King in AK...everything else in that park had to wait until we saw that show, that it was that wonderful. So I saw it. Yes it's well done. Did I "love" it?....No. Do I have any desire to see it again?.....No.

Philharmagic I really like because it's a movie. 3D no less. I love the smell of dessert as it passes under your nose, I love the champagne "pop" in your face, and the scene where Donald is chasing Aladdin and Jasmine on a magic carpet is spectacular!! You feel like you are diving down into the market at 100mph! I just don't dig live stage shows I guess. I have never seen Fantasmic but it does interest me; now pyrotechnics - those I like. :rotfl:

You sound like me. I'm glad I saw Lion King once, but I don't need to see it again. Of course if I was with someone who wanted to see it, I would go with them. Ok now I really want to see Philharmagic. You made it sound appealing. I like pyrotechnics too. :thumbsup2

Awww man...... I love the Lion King and the Country Bear Jambory. We have to do them every trip. :goodvibes
