How's everyone today? Raining here. I'm waiting for DS15 to get up, with a sinking feeling he has no intention of doing so. I'm about to go announce to him that if that is his decision for today and/or tomorrow, he is grounded over vacation next week. Thank God DH took next week off from work.

DS12 has his detention today. Otherwise that little episode is over. He's filling in at the teen center tomorrow night for a bass player who will be out, and he's super excited about that.

What a difference a little incentive makes. DD12 now has 1 C, the rest A's and B's. Tomorrow is her concert that she's been aiming for. I get to take her to see Cody Simpson.

Just found out on my Alaska cruise thread that the weekend we're going in to Seattle before the cruise is the Seattle Pride parade. 100,000 people are expected to march in the parade and 250,000 more watch it. That's a lot of people! And we haven't booked a hotel yet. Guess we better get booking. All I know is a giant crowd will not keep me from the original Starbucks.

I don't know if any of y'all read the little blog and news blurbs on the main DIS page, but Snow White's Scary Adventures is closing this spring!.....for good!! I realize it's a kitschy amusement-park dark ride, but it's an original! Worse yet, it's slated to be replaced by a future princess meet-n-greet. Really?? Do we need yet another of those? I'm glad my boys are growing up and got to see the REAL Fantasyland when they were little. If we're going to turn this part of the park into a girl's dreamland, then they ought to turn the entire Adventureland into one big Pirates of the Caribbean-Land!!!

That will be the only Princess meet and greet area (unless you want to pay the big bucks to eat in the castle.) So it's not another, I think the one in front will move to that area. Because we all know you can't have a Princess in 2 places at once. I have heard they are trying to make the Fantasyland expansion appeal to boys too with more Prince stuff with all the Princess stuff. I'm really looking forward to the new Snow White mine ride and the Little Mermaid ride. I haven't gone on the Snow White ride for a while since it scared my youngest. It is a little sad, but I'm also excited for all the new changes. And I'd love a Pirates of the Caribbean-Land.

I actually liked Snow Whites Scary Adventure. I liked that it had a little scary factor and not another cutesy ride, if you know what I mean. Thankfully I had a girl who was never into princesses. Pirates of the Caribbean Land would be much more appealing for all of us.

Good morning. Winter made an appearance last night. I think about 5 or 6 inches. It's beautiful outside! The roads were horrible last night. I heard you couldn't see 10 feet in front of you.
