Woo hoo! DH and I have picked our colors: his will be orange, mine will be green. I bought tickets recently and have assigned those to our account and our bands! With my trip being in May, I have a LOT of waiting to do in between stuff. My next date is sometime mid-October, for park hours. Then, end of Oct. I can book flights. Nov. 9th is ADR day!!! Then I have long cold winter to hunker down and do nothing but dream, until March when we can do FP+ picks!

::sigh:: ....I went this past May and did the same waiting game last year!!!

We're only doing three, but considering it's only a 4-day trip, that's a pretty full schedule!! We'll be eating at Garden Grill (never been), 50s Prime Time (never been; might do this for our anniversary meal!), and Biergarten (been there and LOVE it!.....DH can't wait for the full-size big stein of beer, since he doesn't have to drive home!! ).

I still want to go to Disney.. but DH wants to take the kids on a mini trip (cruise) to the bahamas in January... It;s probably the only 4 days of the year that we can all make ourselves available at the same time without a conflict of some sort or other... I would rather do disney.. but I'll take what I can get.. maybe next year for our 20th anniv I could convince him... nothings set in stone.. so who knows.... one day I'd like to go to see the Candlelight processional in Epcot. that's on my bucket list...

Where'd everybody go?!

I'm here. It's been a rough few days. My father's last surviving sibling and youngest brother passed away early Wednesday morning. We're heading to the SC Lowcountry early in the morning for the funeral tomorrow afternoon. He had a long and happy life. Thankfully, my brother and I were able to see him in August.

I'm just checking in on a Friday night. Been a long week at work.

I'm feeling strange that I won't be at an event tomorrow. I've had one every Saturday since mid August. I'd be at one tomorrow, but my uncle's funeral is tomorrow.

Aw... sorry about your loss. Unfortunately funerals are a lousy reason for getting to see realatives you don't normally see, but at least you had a chance to visit him in August.
My DH still wants to do this Bahamas thing.. but I am not finding good airfare... Not sure.. personally, I'd rather save the cash and put it towards a bigger vacation instead of trying to squeeze in a quick trip.. hardly worth taking vacation days. whay aren't the airlines putting out good deals??

Thank you all for your condolences. All of his children and grandchildren were able to be there, and I'm so thankful for that! It was a beautiful service, and I kept my composure until they played my grandmother's favorite hymn. My cousin (my other uncle's daughter) and I sat there, held hands and wept as we sang along under our breath. They had a soloist sing it, otherwise we would have sung aloud. That hymn was also played at my father's and my other uncle's funerals. So now it has been played at all three of my grandmother's sons' funerals.

Please keep my aunt and family in your thoughts as she adjusts to life without my uncle.
