Hi all! Just got done with the DVC member cruise and am starting the first public cruise today!

Overall the ship has a confusing layout and can be frustrating to get around. However once you can get your bearings it isn't that bad. I have to admit that it is irritating having to go up then go down then go back up to get to some of the areas.

The shopping for the first day has lines around the doors and down the halls. Be prepared for a bit of a wait.

Appointment times for guest services is highly recommended.

Character photos and photos in general take up a good chunk of time during the day and renders the staircase unusable. It would be great to have since it's hard if you have to go from one side of the ship to the other.

The deck to the AquaMouse is SUPER HOT. You can't wear shoes on the ride and they have cubbies at the top for them. Again the deck is SUPER HOT!!!

The new show Disney Seas The Adventure is awesome! Definitely go see it. The Little Mermaid has been updated too.

This is a very bright and shiny ship. It was about 70% full for the DVC and the First Public is about 95% full. The capacity felt fine for the first part so it will be interesting to see what 20% more will feel like. It did become cramped at times.

We were on deck 10 in room 10588. If you book this room be prepared to hear the music from the stage above you. You'll know every song and the room vibrates a bit. As long as everything was calm up there it was fine. Good amount of storage since it's a family with a murphy bed. There is no chair in it. You do gain additional storage space next to the bed. It has a drop down bed.

The room we're in now is a deluxe family with no Murphy bed and does have a chair. You lose the extra storage space. It has a drop down bed.

We are booked for Hyperspace Lounge, Palo Brunch and Dinner along with Enchante which is tonight.

Sorry this is broken up. Just wanted to get useful info out.

We were on the MV and agree with your comments. It took me until Day 5 to decide I did like the ship. It was so different than the others. Once you know the layout it becomes easier but I think 3 and 4 day cruisers are going to be confused!!

Not necessarily true. I was allowed to were my sandals since they had straps and wouldn't slip off. Other people had to put their's in the cubbies. A crewmember was spraying water on the deck for those without shoes to try and make it a little cooler

wondering too! Did you have to pack?
We did the B2B. We changed rooms, so expected to have to pack. The note we received said that everyone had to pack, even if staying in the same stateroom.

I think it was a little after 11AM when we started reboarding. Rooms were ready at 2PM

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated

Can you leave the port and go do something or are you forced to stay in the terminal?

After going thru customs, we left the terminal, went to the parking garage to offload some of our purchases and gifts from the maiden voyage, went next door to the tent set up for Covid screening, and then went back thru security to check in and wait for the B2B boarding. You are not forced to just wait in the terminal.

I was thinking maybe a beer or wine run?

speaking of beer, the Wish has a different beer mug, so the existing token from previous cruise ships was not honored. I had to buy a new one.
That is very disappointing to hear. My husband has his mug from previous cruises and we are getting ready to set sail on a B2B in less than 2 weeks. I had heard rumors about not honoring the mug and my husband said "No Way, we are talking about Disney. They go out of their way".
I guess Disney is becoming like everyone else which is sad.

No transfer of beer mug from ship to ship, no transfer of the coffee card from ship to ship, can we use our popcorn buckets?!?

Hello all again!

My internet was not working for a majority of the trip. Dang you V!!

Thank you for others who posted. And answered questions.

We were one of the first on the AquaMouse on our second trip. To be fair, they were not hosing the deck at the time. People with water shoes would were on the deck longer just by the nature of the shoes they wore. While getting off the ride and getting your shoes from the cubbies you do have to run on the hot deck. My pink burned feet would have appreciated that extra bit of help. There isn't any shade to get around this but if they have started to hose it down that will cut down the heat.

After we disembarked we were led across the street into the tents to get tested. That went very smoothly. You checked your status on your Safe Passage app. There were quite a few families that weren't allowed back on the ship due to a positive

OK reservations for Hyperspace Lounge. This takes place in Tritons. If this is a must for your cruise I suggest going straight there. Yes there will likely be a line. They set the times for 45 minutes by while we were there plenty of families left. Kids CAN go into the club until 8 or 9 at which time it turns into adults only. There are some whacky drinks served so if you're adventurous definitely try one out. There are also glasses that you can purchase but you'll need to ask your server. I'm not sure if everyone knows and we were not told about them. Once we asked she brought them over. All are under $20. All are really cool. You can also try a walk up since people leave early than their allotted times. There was plenty of space while we were there so ask if they're at capacity.

Even though this first Public cruise was 96% full the only times it was really noticed was at the lines for dinner.

In regards to the elevators. If you want to go to decks 1-10 you can use any elevator. If you want to go up to decks 11-14 you need to use the last 4 near the walls. They did mark these but you will need to wait until they come unless you want to get up there and wait for the correct elevator or choose to walk. We just waited.

Hopefully this is helpful.

Cheers!

We went to Enchate
