Menus
Ladies Luncheon - I have not been given any guidelines or menus to pick from for this event, so I am just kind of winging it. This one is totally up in the air for that reason.
Portobello Soup (from Artist Point)
Caesar Salad
Tea Sandwiches
Scones and jam tarts (maybe)
Alice in Wonderland themed cupcakes
Beverages: Soda, lemonade, iced tea, coffee and tea. I may offer pinot grigio, pinot noir and Rosa Regale since I have a $1000 food and beverage minimum.
Welcome Dinner - We are going with a Bella Notte theme for this. I hope to even have do Lady & Tramp themed decor.

I am doing The Lady & Tramp Rehearsal Dinner Menu with some tweaks...
* Romanine, Radicchio and Spinach Salad w/ balsamic vinaigrette and sundried tomato ranch dressing
* Freshly prepared seasonal vegetables (kinda want to know what we get here)
* Cheddar cheese soup with pretzel breadsticks (subbing for pasta with olive oil, arugula and feta) - Paul thinks that this should never happen to pasta

* Spaghetti and Meatballs (duh) When we tell people it is L&T themed, everyone always asks if we are having this
* Parmesan-crusted chicken breast with a creamy tomato sauce (comes with a mushroom sauce, but Paul won't go near one!)
* Lobster ravioli (maybe like the Coral Reef) the menu has a mahi mahi on it, but don't think that our guests will love it. I need to offer something for my pescatarian friend.
* Ciabatta and Focaccia with olive oil and butter
* Chocolate Cannoli and probably a grooms cake (chocolate with peanut butter cup mousse) Taking out the Italian Citrus Cake with Almonds
* Beverages: soda, iced tea, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Sam Adams and Sangria (was thinking the sangria from Via Napoli, but Jackie says that Yachtsman's is better). I will have to do a taste test.

coffe and tea too
Reception We are doing the Tinker Bell Menu with some changes.
Pre-reception
* Fresh fruit with yogurt dip (I now have to have the Mickey watermelon!)
* Strawberry Soup Shooters (replaces Macerated Berry Shot)
* Smoked Salmon platter (not sure on this one, it could be cut)
* Maybe move the pastries here too
Reception
* Oven-roasted golden potatoes with caramelized shallots herb butter (replaces the potatoes with fennel and parmesan cheese)
* Sausage and (we're adding) bacon
* Mickey Waffle Bar
* Carved flank steak with 4 sauces (replacing grilled chicken with mushroom and wine sauce)
* Penne alla vodka (replacing penne with an artichoke cream) Again, Paul won't touch that.
* Egg station
* Wild berry and grand marnier cream cheese crepes with vanilla sauce
Beverages: soda, iced tea, coffee, tea, juices (including the special juice from 1900 Park Fare) Mimosa, Bellinis, Screwdrivers, Bloody Marys and probably Rosa Regale (my favorite!)
* Wedding cake (tbd Mad Hatter)
Dessert Party We have a good six hour break between our reception and DP, so not worried about people being too full. They may eat on their own, but I have no control over that.

* Vanilla ice cream with various toppings and root beer and Coke for floats
* Flambeed donuts with rum and coffee gelato
* Fruit salad
We are up in the air on the cookies and brownies. Just not sure how many will get eaten.
Beverages: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, after dinner cordials. Thinking of having coffee with Baileys (my fave) and a hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps
Farewell Breakfast - This is going to be very simple.
* Scrambled Eggs
* Bacon and Sausage
* Hash Browns (hoping for patties)
* French toast (either the Maple Vanilla from GF Cafe or apple cinammon)
* Fruit salad
* Assorted pastries
Beverages: Coffee, tea and juices
Please let me know what you think. Comments, suggestions. Things I might be missing out on.
For our tasting in April we are going to try: oven roasted potatoes, strawberry soup (have to make sure they get it right

), penne alla vodka, the cream cheese crepes, flank steak, parmesan crusted chicken, flambeed donuts and funnel cake pudding.
Thanks for reading along. Hopefully, I will have some pictures for the next round.
