Availability found for discounts at AAVacations site

There are available dates for resorts that have not been available by phone or online recently at the AAVacations site at what they term the "Fall Special" rate which runs from Oct. 1 through Dec. 30.* I know that several people have been disappointed that the times for their resorts (especially POFQ) have had no availability at the discounted rate.* Here are some examples of discounts:

POR* $56-74
POFQ* $56-65
ASR* $28-35
CBR* $56-65
AKL* $96-225 (concierge)
Boardwalk* $152-225
YC* $152-262
WL* $96-188 (concierge)
GF* $182-329 (concierge)
others are available, but I'm running out of my playtime for posting.* LOL!

You *can* book here and not buy air.
They have an availability calendar which is very helpful in seeing what you can/cannot book for any given time.
No, I do not work for AA, nor do my family/friends.* I just thought this may help someone who could not get the resort they wanted at a discounted rate.*

I just checked my dates and the prices you quoted have an asterisk by them which leads to this note under the prices-
* Prices are per person, double occupancy, mid-week arrival
So the prices you quoted are per person, just so no one is confused.

I *do* know that mid-week arrival is not always necessary to receive the cheapest rate. I compared my mid-week arrival rate to a w/e arrival and the prices are the same (just so no one doesn't try.) <G>

The rates seem great, but they make you purchase tickets. I was on the funjet site and they have the same rates and let you remove the ticket option. I wonder if the reservation would go through that way. I was quoted a nightly rate at Pop for $56.00 incl taxes for mid-october which appears to be a great price.
