I am new to this whole autograph book thing but thought we would try it with our girls this trip. I am using some great templates from this board to put together some books, but I wondered if the Princes (Charming, the Prince, Prince Eric etc...) are acutally available for autographs??:confused3
I know in the past I have seen Aladdin and I think I noticed Prince Naveen in other trip reports. But can't seem to remember if the guys are around for autographs like the girls are???
Thanks for any help...

they rarely are, but occasionally. naveen was only there when they were promoting princess and the frog. the one prince you should be able to get if your going this year is the one from the new film "Tangled" i'm not sure if he is a prince, but i know he is Rapuenzels love interest. they will have a spot in fantasyland right by sleeping beauty's castle

:)Thanks, this is what I thought. I am just wondering if I should make a page for the prince next to the princess...or will it remain blank for a long time? I don't want my girls getting upset that they can't find them or have a bunch of empty pages with the picture of the prince on it.
I think I will skip the individual page for the prince. They can always sign on the same page as the princess, if we would be lucky enough to spot one. ;)

The only Prince we have ever seen there is Prince Naveen (oh, and Aladdin - is he a prince?)

Yes, it was his wish.

I wouldn't save a page. Worst case if you run out of pages you can have them sign on the same page as the princess. I have seen prince Phillip in the royal walk, but I think that was just luck.

Recently there have been some great character photos by the castle. Cinderella and Fairy Godmother and Snow White with The Queen.

Aladdin and Jasmine do have a pretty regular meet and greet now at Aladdin's Oasis. Jasmine isn't always there, but Aladdin is around for most of the day.

I'm counting him as prince for sure - until I met Naveen he was as close to a prince as I could get. ;)

:lmao: I guess Aladdin was the alternative prince and he fell into royalty like most of the princess stories.

Thanks for the verification on leaving the prince pages out! Awesome!

In the past 3 times I've been to 1900 Park Fare for dinner Prince Charming has been there. I've only seen Aladdin in the parks.

Like PPs mentioned, it is fairly easy to find Aladdin - he is at Aladdin's Oasis in Adventureland several times a day (usually with Jasmine).

At DLR the only other prince we have seen is Prince Phillip. That was at Goofy's Kitchen one night. However, we have been to Goofy's 6-8 times in the past few years and have only seen him there once . . . so I wouldn't count on it!

A PP mentioned Prince Charming (Cinderella's) at 1900 Park Fare, which I can confirm, but is useless if you are going to DLR since 1900 PF is at WDW! :)

At DLR we have also seen the Evil Queen from Snow White (near Snow White's wishing well) and Cinderella's Fairy Godmother (at Goofy's Kitchen), so maybe if you just save a few pages for random princess-related characters you'll be able to spot a few.

Don't forget you can always stop by and ask the CM at the end of Main Street whether, when and where particular characters will be out that day.

Have fun! A lot of the autograph books they are selling around DLR this summer have a place for a photo next to each autograph, which is kind of fun too!

I'm not sure if they have a computer out there. I'd recommend asking at city hall.

No need for a computer.
At least the CMs that wear "ask me about characters" badges do have printed timetables.

One of them at Pixie Hollow could even tell us when Sully would be out again at DCA.

I haven't seen any Princes since before PFF when they would be out with their Princess and then I saw The Prince (from Snow White), Prince Charming, and Prince Phillip. Now I see nobody but Aladdin.

Well, I saw Peter Pan and he was insisting he could be a Prince, but that's nother story altogether :rotfl:

In December 2009 I once saw Jasmine at Aladdin's Oasis without Aladdin! Aladdin did show up at another time.

Overall, I agree with others--odds are you'll only see Aladdin and (if you go from about 10/15 through the end of the year--maybe longer) Flynn from Rapunzel. Flynn is basically a bandit as far as I can tell, so Rapunzel is a princess so it's likely he's a prince by marriage. (My favorite princesses are princesses by marriage so that's nothing to be ashamed of, IMO. ;D )
