Autograph page designs- all pages restored 8/7/10

Thank you for all the hard work you do and share so freely. I truly appreciate it and my dd6 will have a very magical trip thanks to the DISigners on the board.

She LOVES these pages!! She thought she could print everyone in EVERY size - the ink cartridge had other ideas...

I will be hitting my email today and sending out that document. Well since last night and this morning I got one done. It took me hours to find the clip art and then to figure out what looked good together & I am still not 100% happy with the result. Hopefully Heather will be posting an alternative, but until she does here's Perla

Also, I could do Suzy but she has a background. I used PhotoImpact to take the background away to make it a Gif and it took her eyes away. I spent an hour trying to make her eyes white & black again and I couldn't make it happen. If someone has a good Suzy and someone can fix the Suzy I have and make it a gif, please let me know. I hate computers.

I have been playing with the 6x6 pictures from Photobucket to make sure they will print out o.k. (while trying to hide it from DD9 and DD7 and while cheering on the Gators against Georgia) and when I pull up the picture it is small. When I re-size it, then it blurs.

Does anyone have any idea what I could be doing wrong? Has anyone else tried to pull up the pictures and print them out? I am sure that I am doing something wrong but can't figure it out!

Any help/guidance would be appreciated!

I found another clip art for Suzy so here's another one done. Not bad one a day. That's it for the week, I will do another one next weekend and look forward to all the ones Heather turns out.

Sorry I haven't been around. I had a health scare and wound up spending a couple days in the hospital and a couple of days recovering. (Yes, I'm all ok now) DH took my laptop away I should be back to designing tomorrow or the next day. I have a couple that are almost ready, but I'm not 100% happy with them.

Are you saving the thumbnail size or are you clicking on that one to get the larger picture? It should be the right size if you save that file. Have you tried saving them directly from this thread? I'm not exactly hinking clearly, so let me see what I can come up with. I'd be more than happy to send you te file if needed.

I was wondering if you ever thought about designing a cover for the autograph books to go with all your wonderful pages?

I was playing with a couple of cover designs myself but they PALE in comparison to your wonderful pages - I'd never be able to do it justice.

Please don't feel obligated to design a cover. You've already done so much and are so generous to share with anyone. I was just curious as to what you would come up with as a cover considering how great your pages are.

I have plans to do covers...I just haven't gotten there yet. I know I need to otherwise my girls autograph books will be nekkid Can't have that now can we..

I pulled up the picture from the direct link and it worked! I knew that it was something that I was doing wrong!

Again, glad you are feeling better and we all look forward to seeing your upcoming pages! Your's are the best that I have seen and I can't wait for my DD's to see the book when it is done!

Ok, these are super cute!! I love them!

Has anyone made a book out of these yet? What size are you making it? Any printing tips? How can I get more than one on one page? Anyone have any tips to offer??? Would love to make my daughter a book with these designs.

I have made 3 books so far. I printed the 4x6 size and got two on one page. I left quite a bit of space on the left hand side so that I can have it spiral bound. I am going to print out all the blank frames as well to add to the book. I'll post pics as soon as I can. I am going Thanksgiving week, so I've been stalking this thread hoping for new designs. I hope that Heather feels better and hope that she knows how much everyone loves these designs!

I wanted to get started printing these pages out. I was wondering what type of cardstock everyone was using? I know there are a lot of different "weights" to the cardstock/paper. I wasn't sure what I should be looking for.

Any hints would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!
