Autograph page designs- all pages restored 8/7/10

Heather, please don't apologize, you do plenty! We'll just keep checking this thread for updates.

FYI: The characters I've seen on my last 2 trips have been: some from Robin Hood, Little Einsteins, JoJo the clown, Gideon?, Brier fox and Brier bear?, Belle, Tigger, Queen of Hearts, Lilo & Stitch, Snow White and the various dwarfs, Buzz Lightyear, Woody...I hope this helps.

Heather,

I have one more question, how can I continue changing the square ones to 4x6, so that you don't have to redo all of them. I'm trying to make a 4x6 of Ariel, Rafiki, Gephetto and Kim Possible, but I'm not sure how to. I don't want you to waste your time resizing each one.

Carmen

It's no trouble at all really. It's just a matter of cutting and pasting the majority of the time. Only rarely do I have to resize the characters. My younger daughter has decided she likes that size better anyway, so since I'm doing it for her, I may as well continue to post them.

As for you making the changes, not quite sure. Every time I try to change a JPEG file it stretches out too much.

I'll try to get those four done this next couple of days...There's really no reason why I can't (and no, it's NO trouble, so don't tell me not to bother :rotfl:) They've all got to get done at one time or another.

Gephetto LOVED the one I did last time. I'll have to see if I can scan his autograph and "artwork" it's so cute! He showed his page to te handler and to every person standing in line. Because of that, I have a soft spot for him.

My DD did Suzy, Perla, Mr & Mrs Incredible, Baloo and King Louie tonight. I've got to make a few changes to them and clean them up a bit and a few other things and they'll be ready to post tomorrow afternoon. I'm pretty impressed with these, especially the borders she did.

Yes, thank you. We saw most of those as well (although my DD would have died if she had seem the Queen of Hearts -- Loves the villians)

My first attempt at some 4 x 6 autograph pages. :hippie: They took me forever, but I finally finished them. :headache: The hardest part was getting a frame I liked. For the Figment one, I finally just "settled" for a frame. :rolleyes1
I checked with Heather to get her approval to post them on her site as I didn't want it to appear I was "infringing" :guilty:

If someone wants the "ufo" file to make changes, email me and I will send it. I am working on Jiminy Cricket now but haven't found a back ground I like.
Penny
??I don't know why the files are two different sizes??

They look great! Love your backgrounds!

Usually for me the hardest part is picking the frame. I think you did a great job matching up the frames with the characters. I think the Figment one is perfect...Rather futuristic I think.

I had a request for pages without the names so I thought I'd go ahead and post them. It only took a few minutes to change, so it was no big deal.

Ok everyone. I let my OCD get the best of me today:scared1: ..I've been busy! You now have your choice of 6x6 pages with or without names, 4x6 pages with or without names and border pages (just the border - no background or characters) in both 4x6 and 6x6 pages...AND you can go see them all at my PhotoBucket account:thumbsup2 . I spent the day uploading and organizing...and fixing links when I broke them:sad2: .

Anyway, you can see all this here: http://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a350/luvmy4brats/Autograph%20pages/?start=all

Hope you like it!

Now I can get back to designing

Wow! What a job that must have been. :thumbsup2

Your pages are terrific and I cannot wait to use them! :goodvibes To bad our trip is not for a LONG time. :rotfl2: But then, it will give me a chance to watch for your other designs and keep adding to the books I'm making. I'll have to add and extra couple of days to our trip just to hunt for autographs.

I'm debating between the 6x6 version and the 4x6 version. Obsessing is probably a better word. :rotfl:

I noticed that your Gepetto design & Rafiki design are no longer listed. Or was a dreaming when I wrote those two names down?

Anway, just wanted to say again how great you are to do this. I know this has to be a lot of work and for you to share it with everyone is so GENEROUS of you.

Thanks again, and again, and again.

Even I'M having a tough time deciding between the two. Especially now that I'm doing both! I think I'm going to do one of each.

Gepetto and Rafiki are on page 3. I found them in my photobucket account. They're from the first batch I did and I can't make changes to them. I will be redoing them shortly.

LOL on adding days to your trip for autographs. We actually spent almost an entire day in Epcot on an autograph hunt. We had so much fun. Not sure who had more fun parents or kids!

I'm so glad you're enjoying them.

Heather,

You are great! Thank you so much for sharing your designs!:)

Now, I too will have to decide 6x6 or 4x6. I was thinking that the 6x6 gives the characters more room to sign, but do books even come in 6x6 size like the 4x6?
Decisions...decisions and I only have about a month to go!:confused3

Thanks again!

Yes, they do come in 6x6. That's what size we used last time. I got ours at Michaels. You could also print them out larger at 8x8, but those would be pretty big books to tote around and the resolution won't be quite so good.

I am absolutely amazed. These are beautiful. And you allow us to copy and use them? I was not sure I was reading right. I've read other places where someone was saying people took her things and had no right to do that. I'm still in shock...thanks for all your dedication and work.:cheer2:

Of course you can use them! ;) It pleases me to no end that everybody likes these so much. Some people do t-shirts....I do autograph pages:rotfl2:

Heather,

I was wondering if you ever thought about designing a cover for the autograph books to go with all your wonderful pages? :goodvibes

I was playing with a couple of cover designs myself but they PALE in comparison to your wonderful pages - I'd never be able to do it justice. :rotfl2:

Please don't feel obligated to design a cover. :worried:  You've already done so much and are so generous to share with anyone. I was just curious as to what you would come up with as a cover considering how great your pages are. :thanks: :flower3: :cheer2:

Did you ever stop and realize how projects begin? :confused3 This one began innocently enough last weekend. I was very impressed by some of the designers new work. :goodvibes I liked their t-shirts, mousekeeping envelopes and holiday cards. I was inspired to start learning how to do some of the work people were showing. With the support of the great people on this thread I learned how to write my name with a character behind it. However, somewhere I read that if I had PhotoShop Elements I could really do some great stuff, so I bought PhotoShop Elements. :dance3: Then I subscribed to Heather’s thread about making 4 x 6 autograph cards. :cheer2:
Now, I have been to Disney about 10 times in the last 8 years and I don’t have one autograph. They have never interested me. But my next trip in February will be with my 3 nieces (twin almost 4 year olds and an 8 year old). They are going to want to do autographs. My DH loves taking pictures and someone mentioned that they used put their autograph cards in their photo albums along side the pictures of the kids with the character. Bingo, what a great idea. My mom had just told me (she is 80) that she is very excited about this Disney trip as her one hope is to have her great grandchildren have good memories about her. :flower3: I figured if I made a photo album for her and for my niece, then the memories from this trip would be forever. SO that’s a long explanation of why I got involved in this project. As I said, it began innocently. :rolleyes1 Last week Heather posted some autograph pages. She posted them in two formats 6x6 & 4x6. Well I fell in love with these designs. I recognized some of the frames, so I thought “maybe I can do this”. Now I checked with Heather first as some people don’t won’t you hijacking their thread and some people feel the more the merrier. The last thing I wanted to do was step on Heather’s toes as her work was so great. So I checked with her and she told me she was ok with me posting some 4x6 designs. So I tried doing a few & loved doing them. I posted the 3 I did and then thought I would let Heather know which characters I would do next. Plus I wanted to know what characters I would see in the parks. Well, that was last Sunday and I have been going strong ever since. I now have a 20 page document with the following.
Using www.wdwautographs.com I was able to get a listing of the characters who are giving autographs. I didn’t include characters who don’t do autographs (like Sully). I listed the character name, where they could be found (using the site above, All Ears, Mouse for less and of course the DisBoards). I listed the frequency they had been seen over the last few years. Again, using the sites listed above. I included the legend for the frequency list. I included the movie or where they were a character from. & last but not least I included a column for marking off if we had a 4x6 card made for the character. :lmao: Now I am going to mark down what characters are currently made & then ask Heather if I can help make a few that haven't been made. I thought I would start with the Super Common & Common ones and then go from there. :thumbsup2
Then I cut and pasted some information from All Ears about the Character Meals (description). I didn’t include the price or menus since they change. However I included where they could be found and what characters attended. Also included is character meet and greet FAQ section from AllEars. Then comes another listing with hyperlinks (from wdwinfo.com) about character dining. A listing of Epcot characters at a glance and a smaller listing for the 3 other parks. :rolleyes1
This project has had me so busy that all I have purposely stayed away from the boards and haven’t opened my email and have not done one new design. I didn’t want anything to distract me until I finished this darn project. So now that it is done, if anyone wants a copy, just email me at chaoscent@verizon.net & I will send it out to you. Take care, Penny

ps - I am happy to report I did not bang the computer more than 3 times this week. :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: :hyper:

LOL! You sound like me! I start with a little idea and next thing I know it has turned into an all consuming project. ;)

I would certainly love a copy of your document. Who wouldn't? You've done all the hard work for us. I'll be sending along that email.

Thanks for sharing! It still amazes me how helpful and selfless the people around here are. :cheer2:
