Autograph ideas

They come in wood or plastic, basically two rings, one in the other. You place the fabric over the smaller one, pop the bigger on the outside and tighten the screw. Make fabric tight so easy to work with. Craft or sewing stores. These one is from Walmart. You can get as low as $4-5.

OH!!! Very cool! Great idea...thanks!

Hoop would work great, we used a dry erase board and large binder clips to move the cloth pillowcase and tote.

We did a book but just had them sign 4x6 scrapbook paper. When we bough home I printed a picture from each meet and greet and a brag book album. As you flip through it you have the autograph on one side and the picture of the kids with that character on the other side.

I also really love the quilt block idea though! I sew and am making my daughter park outfits but I've never tried quilting before. That still really intimidates me! Maybe if I Pinterest enough tutorials I would be brave enough to try it...

You can have them sign a book, (on white paper) and then scan the images into your computer. Or, you can have them sign a white screen or clear transparent PNG is even better if you have an iPad or iPhone. And then once you have the digital images, you can make a mugs, plates, blankets, and other products from a site like shutterfly.

This way, you can make what you want, but you're not luging around something big, or heavy.

This is a super quick example of just a plain mug. No colors.

You can also add the shots of you with the characters on the mug or whatever item you want to make.

We were watching a vlog yesterday and a couple had a Mickey plate that they had bought and were carrying around to have the characters sign. I thought it was a great idea, it came out looking fantastic. I just wonder how we would carry it around without breaking it!

Love this idea! But agreed a little worried about breaking it, especially with a toddler in tow!
At my kids' school, when each one was a kindergartener they made a plate as a Mother's Day gift. Since it was a surprise, I don't know exactly where they were ordered or how they're done, but I do know the kids drew a picture on a piece of paper and somehow it was sent to the company to be transferred to a melamine (plastic) plate. I've been using them for years - food safe, dishwasher safe, lightweight. It would be a really cool thing to maybe order a few of these "kits" or whatever they were and make multiple plates (depending on how many signatures you get).

Thank you! That would be much easier to carry around and we could make several. I've never seen anything like this before.

Basic quilting is quite easy. It's only when you want cool patterns and such that it gets more difficult. If you can sew costumes, you can definitely quilt! :)

One year our boys picked out their favorite post cards from the resort gift shop on our arrival day. We had the characters sign the backs of the cards. They were easy to carry around and wound up being a great keepsake.
LOVE this idea! Might be doing that.
Also like the quilt blocks idea, that's really cool. I'm thinking making the blocks in the shape of a Mickey Head in the middle of the quilt..

We've gotten reproductions of Disney movie posters and cartoons off of eBay and had them signed. They look great framed and displayed.

We had characters sign a white vinyl Mickey on our last trip- turned out awesome! I bought a bunch of different colored sharpies for the characters to sign with.

That's super cute! Did any characters have a hard time signing? Like Eeyore or Pluto?
