August2011 PTR...just couldnt wait to get started!

You are arriving at 5pm sorry the cat is out of the bag as soon as your 8 year old sees the Matterhorn form the freeway! That being the case don't wait until morning...Go have dinner at GK or somewhere in DTD (I agree with Laurie..not the RFC). Hit World of Disney and get them some ears... or just go to Marcellines and get some disney dessert goodies..Just make it the evening to enjoy the area surrounding the parks...but esp if you are staying on any of the streets around the parks...Harbour, Katella etc...the parks are right across the street...Don't think they are going to fall for we just decided to stay right next to DL and decided to ignore it's presence. Only other option is getting a hotel a little further out that last night and driving straight into the parking structure 1st thing in the morning...

Oops didn't finish my thoughts before hitting enter......

I'd do the BBB on the first day.....the hairdo's last for a few days....that way they could be princesses every day while there.

Rainforest is great to go see, but food wise is not so hot. We used to love going there, but the last 3 trips we've seen a steady decline in the food. Last Aug, no one enjoyed their meal & there were 10 of us. Maybe do Goofy's Kitchen for dinner......we love starting & ending our trips with a character meal!!!!

I'd still do the parkhopper passes. The WoC show is absolutely stunning & worth going to. The little one will enjoy Bugs Land.....also check out the Animation Academy (Talk w/Crush is there).

You don't have to spend the whole day there....so if you think you've seen & done enough....hop back over to DL & then back for WoC.

Thanks so much for the advice! I didnt think of the hairstyles lasting awhile, although my girls love to swim so Im not sure how that would work out? Good to know abuot rainforest cafe...maybe I will switch it to somewhere else. Thanks again!

Oh, yeah...I forgot about seeing it from the freeway. Thanks for reminding me! We are staying on Harbour so it will be hard to keep. Thanks for the advice!

I ordered our park-hopper tickets today! We will get them in about 10 days and I cant wait to put them in the book...I opted for them to mail the hardcopies to me so it would feel more official
