There is no minimum stay for room only discounts. The FD promo has a 3 night minimum stay requirement.

Is it better to make the reservations now and then call for the RO discount? Or wait until it actually comes out?

Sorry I missed you. I'm assuming by your post that you currently hold one of these room reservations. When you call, they will apply the promotion to your room assuming that room category is still eligible. In other words. Everyone else is going to call who has one of those rooms booked and once the allotment is full then there will be no more.

Was that understandable?

Hi Joe! Sorry that I am a bit dense this am.....must need more coffee! So you are saying that even though my already booked room category is already sold out, that those types of rooms (CR garden wing, standard view) may still be given a RO discount allotment? Or is it guaranteed that I will have to upgrade my view to take advantage of the RO? Hope that makes sense!

You should be fine. But it is impossible to say with 100% confidence.

Yes for whatever the rate is during the time of the discount.

It doesn't do a whole lot on a value, hence the desire for free dining.

No, that's why it's called room only. If tickets were required, it would be a package offer.

So excited for this! I have been hoping for a room discount since we don't do the DDP. I have a preferred room at POR booked now, but I was hoping to move to the Poly. I almost gave up hope and paid it off at POR.....so glad I waited! The new rooms at the Poly look gorgeous!

You can't go wrong with either of those resorts.

Well, you'd have to bow out of the AAA first, so it may be easier just to book a new one with your visa and cancel the AAA. you can't stack discounts.
