August - September 2013 Room-only Discounts

Thank you so much for posting this.:thumbsup2 My dates are 8/24-8/29 and 9/1-9/2 with a Disney Cruise in between and was hoping for a RO discount. Free dining won't work, because I already have YES tickets so this is exactly what I'm looking for.

Sounds exciting. I hope it all works out for you. I love seeing everyone get a good deal on a dream vacation.

How do I calculate the room rate if the room only discount does come out for September. I'd like to know what the room rate for the poly (standard) would be with a 30% discount.

Thanks!

Per Disney's website, at the current time, rack rate for one standard room at the Poly is $474 for Sept. 1-5, 8-12, 15-19, and 22-26.
$531 for the 29th and 30th.
First three weekends (Fri. and Sat.) are $508. Last Weekend is $574.
Subtract 30% from your preferred dates.

Just popping in to say Thank You Joe! :thumbsup2

Aww you're welcome. Joe sounds better. Black is my last name and it sounds like a drill Sargent when someone say "hey Black" lol.

Yes, the name would be Joe Black, so you can insert your favorite movie quote here.

If I understand correctly the Nemo suites at AoA should get a 15% discount in the last two weeks of August right?

so do you look like Brad Pitt? Enquiring minds want to know :lmao:

Anyone else notice that they are unable to make reservations right now? Says they're doing a magical update. Or more likely, magically broken. :lmao:

I'll blame Disney411 for this... :surfweb:

Yes I noticed this, as it has put a damper on my frantic daily checking for BOG ressies! I'm hoping it means they had a mass exodus and they're just trying to accurately update all the openings....popcorn::

I think they've been down since the middle of last night doing system updates. Hopefully they'll come back up sometime today. I have a couple of trips I want to price out for friends. popcorn:: Had 3 friends email me today saying they want to consider booking next week and I can't give them estimates. Oh well, it' will be back up in time.

I figured I'd start a new thread for this one since it was getting burried up in the others.

Let's call this tentative for now, but if the information is correct, it would certainly bridge the gap for those going in late-August.

Room only discount for travel dates between August 15 and September 28 with some exclusions (such as LM rooms).

This could be available for booking around the same time as the free dining promotion begins (May 9), or shortly there-after.

So guys, it looks like you late-August folks will get someting after all. This looks to be a continuation of the spring and summer discounts of course.

Cheers Everyone!!!

Hi! Do you have to book room only? Or can you book as a package and then have the discount added for the room to your package? We are currently booked 8/21-8/28 at POR! So can we just add the discount to our package? Thanks Joe!

You can book a package with any of the room discounts. You would only get the discount on the room portion of the price however.
