Anyone see the new UG numbers. They went from 5/6 to 5/7 and a 10 during my week!!!! Now I am going to justify that the 10 day is because Fantasmic is showing that night........but do you really think it's going to be as busy as June?

I was sorta hoping for lower crowds, and yes I KNOW it's free dining but still.

Here is hoping that some pixie dust shows up for all of us in August!

Take a look at crowd levels again. Some days went up to 10s but then dropped back down again. Either an honest mistake or someone is getting their kicks out of scaring everyone

With free dining could mean anything. We've gone the last 2 August's and the heat was the big thing for us. Crowd were not low in any means and would say closer to higher.

Just realized it's fast approaching. Starting to panic now. Usually have some packing or organizing done by now. Been busy making plans for October VWL and forgot about August SSR!

Did I hear right? The crowd levels went down for the 9th-14th?
Last August it was the heat more than the crowds that was rough.

I am ther ethe 9th to the 16 and the numbers were all 6's until today. Some are still 6, but other days are 7 or 8 now We had 8's and 9's predicted for last August and I thought the crowds were really managable with the use of early emh.

I've packed away extras like shampoo, body wash, tooth brushes, toothpaste, floss, ponchos, misters/fans and our Disney stuffies.

snacks like granola bars, fruit snacks, animal crackers and of course Disney stickers (buy at home park prices are high) to keep the little ones entertained on those long lines. Various sizes of plastic bags and plastic sheets to cover the stroller. Umbrellas. It will rain once a day and sometimes it's a torrential monsoon. Last year I used the garbage bags from our hotel to cover the backpacks and camera bags. Brita filters and packets of crystal light & green tea for that eeeuwww water. I went to CVS for travel size aloe lotion, sunscreen, Glide, anti-itch bug bite spray, Peds, Off packets, cooling wipes and batteries.

No not alot. In fact we always laugh and wonder at Disney's magic of keeping the biting bugs away. WDW has so many lakes and canals that chances are you or someone in your group will experience a bite at some point.

Please, please help me. We checkin to the Allstar sports on the 10th for 4 nights and then 2 nights at AKL!!! Got a great deal, it's cheaper than going 2 hours to VA. Beach for a 4 nights. But I haven't packed anything, I haven't made out my itinerary, nothing. I'm just not excited about this trip. I need help to get excited. I even checked books out from the library on wdw.

17 days until our third trip as a family-first trip as DVC members!! Staying at SSR aug10-15th for ds 4th birthday. Third time and I am just as excited as the first.. AHHH can not wait

We can't wait! We are drivng from MI and are staying at the Sheraton Vistana. We still haven't told the 3 kids! We will tell them this weekend. I just didn't want to hear "Is it time yet?" all summer long. Though it could have been used for them to be good or "else no DW!"
Hope to learn some tips and advice for our trip.

12 days to go!! We are so excited. I started printing park hours, show times, etc. yesterday to put in my planner. Have lots of laundry and pre-packing to do this weekend - but looking forward to it.
