Okay, Okay okay here's my itinerary :thumbsup2 It took me almost 2 hours of phone time between Saturday and Sunday to work this all out. My thanks to Bobbi and most assuredly Lester for making everything happen. I was very discouraged on Saturday the system was not completely working and certain restaurant could not be booked at that time :guilty: I was certain I couldn't get them since I would have to wait until Sunday  I had to make certain concessions on times but I got everything I wanted and here it is:

8/22 Biergarten 5:30 not my first choice but my husband loves the place.
8/23 Sci-Fi an early lunch but we really like the place.
8/25 Tusker House Never eaten there looking forward to it.
8/26 Chefs De France a late lunch. Haven't eaten at France either.
8/28 Crystal Palace a ressie before park opening.... lovely.
8/28 ..later that day Trails End in time to get back for Wishes!
8/29 9am Whispering Canyon afterwards a look at VWL, new DVC'ers VWL
8/30 House of Blues brunch, dying to try this rest. Sounds awesome.
8/30 Hoop-De-Doo 7:15 in the rafters, by choice :o) Love the show.
8/31 The Plaza in an attempt to keep trying new places
9/1 KONA! Finally I get to try Tonga Toast! Then head to the airport :moped:

All this and a first time stay at POR. Our last big trip before our youngest son goes to High School.

I'm trying to put my packing list together how is everyone else coming with their packing?

:wizard: I don't start planning what I'm packing until school is over!

I'm trying to put my packing list together how is everyone else coming with their packing?

Well I always have my go to list of things to pack. That having been said, I have already put clothes aside. My dis unplugged shirt and a couple of t shirts I purchased from Disney.com. I just recently purchased an owners locker and am getting those things ready to send down before we get there. My Brita spare underwear, socks and a bra :o) I want to send a bunch of stuff down so I don't have to use a spare suitcase.

Anyone at the POP in early August? We still have a spot on our free fridge swap and would like to keep the fridge out of storage as much as possible.
Check us out on the budget board.

I'm trying to put my packing list together how is everyone else coming with their packing?

I have a good idea of what I'll pack, simply because I only have so many shorts, tank tops, and bathing suits. :rotfl:

Working some more on my pre-TR tonight... The nieces are starting to seem more excited about the trip. But I think I am more excited than they are-- I can't wait to blow them away with all the magical WDW experiences that are still beyond their imaginations. pixiedust:

I'm doing a "post-it-note" thing right now. I think of something that we'll need to bring and then jot it down on the post it note. I have three at the computer and 2 in the car!:upsidedow

I'm so excited we recieved our Disney DVD yesterday - the girls are watching it right now!!! There's so many new things since April 2008 - just last year. Kim Possible - hello where were they four years ago when we were huge KP fans! That attraction looks totally awesome!! Toy Story game - can't wait for that ride expecially with my Buzz Lightyear fan! We've seen the finding nemo show at AK, but I could watch that show everyday and never get sick of it!!

Plus we just got our Disney Rewards card and that will be a nice big payment on our trip!!

I can't start packing until the begining of August so this waiting is killing me! I'm slowly grabbing things here and there so no one notices they are missing. We have Mickey spinner lights that we got last trip that I have to secretly pick up and put away. What's awesome this trip is DD9 is tall enough to ride EVERYTHING!! She's going to be totally excited!

I'm trying to put together some fun surprises for them - so I'm planning a picture scavenger hunt and maybe some fun shirts.

Okay, I only read a few of the pages of this awesome thread, but already I feel at home. I'm not the only one thinking about packing when the trip is still two months away! (I asked my husband last night if I could start packing and he gave me a look and a flat "NO".):rotfl:

My family includes me, DH, DD6, and DD4. We are very excited for our trip -- part of it I won in a contest, so we'll be vacationing in style! 7 nights at the Wilderness Lodge (concierge, our first time!), tickets, dining plan.... and then we added 2 nights onto the trip at AKL (Savannah view). I won the trip back in September, so I've had plenty of time to plan!

Here's our basic plan -- most days I've left open as parks go... that was DH's request, that we be flexible when choosing parks. He's more spontaneous than I am... The one thing we can count on is the mid-day break though. Park at opening, leave around lunch, then back to the parks for a couple hours in the evening.

WOW Sounds like you're going to have a great vacation - you won!!! jealous!!

So since we're going to be there in August I'm pulling togehter our bottle coolers, but I can't pack them anywhere because the girls will get suspicious. This trip is a surprise for our girls.

Did I tell you we were watching the Disney DVD yesterday morning! Funny! But it did help me figure out what attractions are new for us this trip like the Kim Possible game and the Toy Story ride - can't wait for those.

Today I'm calling today to try to change some of our ADRs. I'm still sad we didn't get Ohana, but I'll keep on trying.

Tuesday, Aug 18:

Are you allowed to enter AK just to go to the Tusker House? I'm asking since I see the hours on the 18th are from 9:00 to 6:00. We have 8:20AM reservations ourselves, but for the 19th, when they have morning Magic Hours.

Yes as long as you have reservations, you can enter the park early. I like to do it over at the Crystal Palace. There is nothing like walking through the MK when it's closed.
