August in Orlando

hi everybody. We have again booked for Orlando but due to committments we are unable to go until August 10th. Anybody out there know what it will be like ie will the parks be busy, weather etc. Any help greatly received.

It will be hot, humid and rainy The crowds are there, but not too bad. MK starts closing earlier on the 15th, I believe. We were there at this time last year (and going again on the 13th this year) and the rains were a lot worse than usual. Hopefully, we'll only get those afternoon showers that I had planned on. Plan on getting to the parks early, at opening. Then you can go back to your resort for a swim and rest after lunch. Go back to parks late afternoon. At least you can do that if you're staying on-site. Not sure where you'll be staying.

I've been there the last two August at this time. After the 15th the parks close early but the crowds thin down also. Yes it does rain but for the most part just get there early, go back and swim and go back in the late afternoon. We usually go during the summer and it is my favorite time to go.
