August 9th, 2021 Dream

I feel the same way. I'm hesitant to cancel the alternate plans. We weren't going to hit the parks as we have a WDW trip planned for the spring. We were going to stay at Bonnett Creek and also have ADRs at for dinners at 'Ohana and Homecomin'. I'll hold off a few more days before canceling.

The cruise did get a little more real with the arrival of our DU gift basket today. Next up...luggage tags? Although two separate people in the FB group for our sailing called DCL today about the luggage tags, and in typical Disney fashion, one was told luggage tags are going out now while another was told they will not be sent and you'll just give your stateroom # to the porters when you arrive. :confused3

LOL, I saw that! Typical Disney for you...you cant get a straight answer. I got my gift basket too.

Nope! There seems to be mixed information on whether we will get them or not.

I spoke with DCL and was told online check-in needed to be completed and the uploaded passports/selfie pics approved before luggage tags generate. We checked in a week ago but passport upload pic approval is still pending for us so tags have not sent.

So we shouldn’t be expecting Luggage tags. 😁

the porters will just tag at the port.

did the pending for the pictures ever go away? Wondering how long that process takes.

Just today they did and I also received the following email with subject "Online Check-In Finalized"

You're All Set to Sail!
Dear XXXXX ,
Good news! All of your information has been reviewed and verified for your cruise aboard the Disney Dream on 2021-08-09.
As a concierge Guest, once at the port, please look for signage and representatives to direct you to the concierge area.
When you arrive at your designated port arrival time, you will simply present the same documents you submitted during Online Check-In for a quick check. Once your boarding number is called, you will present your Port Arrival Form to board the ship. When your stateroom is ready, your Key to the World card will be waiting for you outside your stateroom.
You are required to bring all documents submitted during the Online Check-in process with you to the port. Guests who do not have these documents with them will not be able to sail.
We look forward to welcoming you aboard soon!

Did anyone here take Disney transport from a resort to port yesterday? If so, when did you arrive?

I realize if you're on the ship you might not see this until Friday, but thought it was worth a shot! :)

Got ours yesterday :rotfl2:

Yep, just returned home from our cruise and the luggage tags were there waiting for us. Wish they would step it up from the $.78 postage and just do priority mail for $5 or overnight FedEx for $10 to help streamline the cruising experience
