I know!!! The last of the group (all of the newbies) will be able to make their excursion selections at 12:00:01 Thursday AM!!!! Then we all just have to patiently count down!!!

Good thoughts needed for DD17, please! Just found out she has Walking Pneumonia! Both girls are in a show on Thursday with their performing group! 2 hour rehearsal tonight and dress rehearsal tomorrow!

Tell Alana to follow doctor's orders!!!! Oh yeah....drink lots and lots of fluids and when she thinks she's had enough she needs to drink some more. Pneumonia is nothing to mess around with. The first year we moved into our house Jay & I both had it for about 2 weeks each and we were both pretty miserable for about a month.

Grrrrrrrrrr. The DCL page won't load for me so I can't book anything. I didn't think that there would be so many other crazy people up at midnight to book their excursions!


ETA: I got all the excursions I wanted (YAY!) but no times were available for Palo brunch (boo!). I'll keep trying though, but it won;t make or break my vacation if I don't get it.

Don't feel sad because there weren't any brunch reservations left for the silver cc members either. We have never been able to book Palo brunch online but have always had to do it once we boarded, which we will do this cruise also.

Well, that does make me feel better. Could you give me some tips on how to do that? Where to go and when? This is my very first cruise and I'm not very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of DCL.

I'm a gold member and I couldn't get the Palo reservations to load online (still can't). By the time they opened in the morning and I called I could only get 3 tables for 2 for Brunch (there are 7 of us). 2 at 11 and 1 at 11:30. I too will be going to change the ressies when I get onboard.

Congrats on getting your excursions!!

And as noted, don't fret about the Palo brunch. This is my fifth cruise and actually the first time I was trying to book a Palo brunch. That was my first attempt at my 90 day mark and zippo - nothing available. I will be among the group heading to Wavebands upon boarding and hoping to snag a brunch for 7!

Welcome to our group! Sorry my welcome isn't quite as fancy as my husbands! I'm sure our DD17 will be excited to meet you and your family! She took 2 years of Japanese in high school!

So it appears the dis reservation system crashed after midnight & the reservations I was making were lost. By lunch time today there were no Palo reservations available.

Everyone else in the same boat? (Pardon the pun!) But now we just wait until we are on board to make a reservation? ANy other suggestions or tips...
