I thought of you as we passed the 238 interchange. We had fun but Jack is a die-hard Mets fan so the game wasn't that "good" for him

! We made great time getting to The City...only 3 1/2 hours and straight to the hotel - Columbus Motor Inn - to drop off the car and catch the bus to the ballpark. We ate at Quizno's before entering the stadium and Traci and Brynée then proceeded to eat $20 worth of ballpark food before the 1st inning was over! I think they spent a total of $40 before the game finished...thankfully it was only 9 innings...last year we were there for the 12 inning game! We walked back to the Wharf and then had dinner at Sabella & La Torre - it is Brynée's favorite place. She and Traci feasted on cracked crab dinners and then we had gelato for dessert. As we were eating dinner I thought that I should have asked what your plans were...but it is so hard to plan around baseball games.
The new Boudin's marketplace is wonderful! They have a museum and tour but it was $3 and at DCA it is free! So we passed, and had the chowder/bread bowl before we left today. The weather was just gorgeous and we hated to come back to the 100 degree weather here - the

days of summer!
Vickie, here is a link to an interesting sounding cafe which is on the way to/from Three Rivers:
