For real you guys are cracking me up tonight. And I am thankful after a day on the airplane with rude passengers, you are a breath of fresh air!

Packing? I barely unpacked from the cruise in May it feels like. I have a small bag that is still packed with some stuff at least I feel like I am ahead of the game there. It is that I have to pack for my DH and DS, not just myself that makes me crazy. God forbid I forget something for them, the world might end. OY!

Nothing comes off in the Goofy pool, it's a family pool. You need to go to the adult pool for that kind of stuff.

Let's take a look at the tropics.

Low pressure system in the GOM (Gulf of Mexico) not a concern.

TS Ana, not a concern.

TS Bill, only a concern for island damage. Some tracks put him a little more north. That would be good news for the Leewards. St. Thomas has a TS watch right now.

Take a look behind Bill. There's a little puff coming off of Africa. That's one to watch.

How many people will be bringing their children to the meet? I ask because if there are other kids, I can convince my 3 (15,11,9) to be there, I think it would be a great way to meet other kids with disney-obsessed parents . Most of the other meets I've attended have been mostly adults.

Our kids will be there-- DD 13; DD 11; DS 8
They are excited to get their bracelets!!

I am going to try really hard to have my dd (10) come with me. Dh isn't interested so he will stay with 2 ds's (4 and 6). But DD really needs to meet kids before she will go to the kids club and I never got her to email with anyone from this board.

If your DD would like to mail my DD 11; just PM me. My kids email thier new friend all the time and it has really helped them feel more comfortable with going on the trip

Ok, all you cruise veterans out there. Since this is our first time at either island, we want to do some sightseeing while we are here. We opted to book on our own, which will give us the flexiblity to make our own itinerary.
We will be getting in our beach time, but want to check out the best sites as well.
Can you guys tell me your favorite spots?

Does anyone else hate packing as much as I do? I can't get dh to help, I wouldn't want to make everyone else suffer on the cruise ship the clothing combinations he comes up with. I've got most of the kids stuff together, and most of ours, but need to wait until next weekend for last minute laundry to be done. I feel like Santa, checking my lists twice to makes sure everything is there and ready to be packed!

ME!!!! Just finished tons of laundry... will do another final load on Wed and pack all day thursday.... I have to organize a bag for after the wedding for Fri and Sat morning, then off to the airport.... all the stuff I just washed, I'll just take all the clothes from there, so that shouldn't be too hard.... then on to shoe selection, I might just throw all my shoes in a suitcase... gotta love SW with 2 bags per person free, with 4 we have 8!!!!!

Did everyone see that the Eastern Magic that sailed yesterday has turned into a Western with two stops at CC? They are there today and will go to Cozumel and Grand Cayman before heading back to CC . . . doesn't sound bad to me at all! Let's face it, DCL will do whatever it takes for us to have a great cruise as long as we remain flexible (and are able to get to the ship!). I have friends on the ship now who were looking forward to Tortola, but I'm sure this will turn out to be a terrific week nonetheless.

I do too! And if you can imagine I practically do it for a living, but for myself is one thing.

I was also wondering, being new here, can our family still get on the DISfriends list? I am so sad we are missing the FE but at least we can meet a few people. I am so going to be on here like a hawk when we book next years cruise, I will not miss out again! =D

It's not that I hate packing - it's more that I hate worrying about what I forgot to pack.

So if I pack early - I don't remember what I've already packed.. but if I pack late, I run out of time b/c I find there are things I need to pack but don't have.

It's soooooo hard to be me.
