August 23-30, 2003 "Welcome Home Fellow Cruisers--Trip Report Completed"

Andy,

I would just love a magnet! Thanks so much...you are so creative!

Is everyone getting excited? We are really getting close now. Once school gets out, I am sure the time will fly by. The summer always does.

LOL I know the feeling! I was hoping to lose a few before the cruise but boy is that creeping up fast!

Saw "Nemo"- great movie. But I swear every one that lives north of Boston was there. We didn't get in until 4:20 show!
But, when we came out of the theater- The SUN ws out!!!!!!!!:bounce: :bounce: Let's hope it sticks around for a while.

allshookup- when I first booked- about a million years ago, or so it seems- I went all out and lost 20lbs. Now I am trying to get motivated again to go for another 20:( I keep trying to picture myself on the boat and beach.

Same here...lost appx. 15 lbs. a few months ago but I've been stuck there ever since. I keep putting off shopping for a dress hoping I'll be down another size!

Suppose to be sunny for the rest of the week...keep your fingers crossed!

allshookup- just notice your from mass. where abouts? we live in Saugus- North Shore-in case you are not familiar with the area. Land of the orange dinosaour and the plastic cows. (although, after this winter, we are short a few cows- big accident- took a few of them out.) Rt. 1, the avenue of American Tackarama- runs right threw the center of town.

LOL aa4mom I Know the area very well. In fact we ate at the land of the plastic cows (aka The Hilltop) for Mother's Day and I must say that place has gone waaaaay down hill. Not only does it need major updating and a good cleaning, but the filet mignon was very tough and the lobster pie certainly wasn't worth the 30 bucks we forked over for it! What do they think this is....Disney World???

Anyway to answer your question...I grew up in Woburn but when I married in 1989 I moved to DH's hometown of Beverly. We are currently in the planning stages of making a move in the next year or two much closer to the mouse. I have family on the west coast of Florida and after this winter DH and I are both sick and tired of this New England weather!

Beverly- just a stone throw away. I have to agree about this winter. It was enough to make me almost visit mil. ds lives in Orlando. She comes home for Christmas and complains for a week. I would love to move south, but no jobs for me south of NC. I'm hoping for a good summer.

Haven't been to the Hilltop in years. I'm not a big meat eater and dh likes the Lone Star much better. Surprised to hear about the Lobster pie- used to be one of the best things on the menum, imho.

I'm starting to feel a bit of anxiety now that's already June and I haven't shopped for clothes, over the door hanger, shoes, bathings suits, Bonine, little green Mickey heads and who knows whatever else I need to ensure this trip goes smoothly! But the reason I have the most anxiety is......I haven't made my final payment yet! I don't think I'm going to relax again until I'm blowing bubbles on that ship!!!

I know the feeling, however, not to rub it in, most of what you stated up above, we have finished, luckily for us.

It's just the waiting that's killing me, I need this vacation sooooooooooooooooo bad!!!

Andy

I have lots of things done already, but have left some things to take care of too... don't want to be ready too soon!!! I have some e-bay things coming this weekend, i'll have to make sure they fit, probably make some trips to the tailor with some of the dresses i bought. no hurry though, getting ready is part of the fun!

I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone at the Radisson, and to see what suprises Andy has in store for us!

It's me! I am a born procrastinator....I work best under pressure and I am just now starting to feel a bit of that pressure so I better get moving!

Look forward to meeting everyone who will be at the Raddison or on the cruise and I THINK I'll be looking forward to surprises from Andy? ;)
