If not, we will be having a DISmeet on board the ship after the life jacket drill on deck 9 behind Topsiders.

I've been reading alot lately about people getting upgraded, and wondering what the cahnces were of getting upgraded....so I decided to check to see if my Category of cabin was sold out. So I hit a few cruise websites and checked out availability.

Our sailing is SOLD OUT!!!!!!! We will have a full boat! Some of you may not agree with me, but I think that is so cool

So, if we ARE sold out, where are the rest of the 8/23 cruisers? Check in guys if you are lurking

So, anyone packed yet? I want to pack so bad, but I am holding out until the week we leave, but the waiting is killing me!

Andy, I spoke to my DH about brunch, and being that he is not a DIS'er he is really not comfortable with doing it. But I will see you guys at the Radisson, my boys and I will pop by the pool to meet everyone. Who knows, maybe I will reserve us a brunch seating at the same time, and accidentally bump into the DIS gang

Disneynutmary.....I just started my packing list and got all my batteries charged in my cam for the trip! I too want to get those suit cases out and start packing!! I asked my travel agent about a possible upgrade and the capacity of the ship and she said that it's pretty full! BUMMER!!!!!!!! The only time we had an upgrade was on our 3 day cruise which was for 9/12!!!!! Thanks to Bin laden we were unable to make it!!!!!! we were upgraded to a cat.3 too!!!! Ohhh well maybe next time! lol

In just 6 short weeks from today, my family and I will be flying into MCO, then we will be heading to the Radisson where we will meet many of you August 23rd Cruisers around the Radisson Pool. Can you believe it, just 6 weeks to go!!! When I started this thread back on 1/25, in the dead of winter, I was thinking August is an eternity away, now we are sitting here waiting for our docs to arrive, gearing up with greater anticipation!!!

I just noticed something, this will be my 2,000th post since joining the DISboards in January. Who says I'm a DISboard addict??? I DO!!!

Docs have already been arriving for some August 16th cruisers, so we shouldn't be far behind!!!

I've been shopping my brains out for the last 2 weeks getting everything we need. I got some really great deals out there since a lot of the summer clothes are on clearance and we got DH and my formal clothes at Marshalls for a steal! Almost done and now I'm getting ready to start packing. I am such a procastinator that this is actually very early for me. I usually throw everthing in suitcases the day before we leave!

I was just checking the Kennedy Space Center launch schedule and the Delta II rocket is going to be launched on 8-23-03 at 1:37 a.m.! I don't know if I would be able stay up for that but I've always wanted to see a rocket launch. I wonder if you can see it from the Raddison?

You should be able to. You can see the space center as you are heading out to the ocean. I watched the last rocket go (to Mars) from the screen porch here in Davenport. Check at the Radisson they may have a place. It's a sight to see, of course I just saw my first rocket launch.

I think I WILL check with the Radisson. Maybe I could even request a room that faces the general direction of the space center. As long as there wasn't a huge obstruction I imagine I would be able to catch sight of it. If not, I am sure they would be able to recommend a good viewing spot. Thanks for the advice!
