Thanks so much Verandah Man! I just went into the Raddison web site and changed my reservation from the AAA rate to the Visit Florida STE rate! I'll take any discount I can get!

Just remember how nice I was to share this information, make sure you let your DH know as well, just in case I'm unable to switch my ressie to a verandah. We should have settlement on our additional DVC points in the next few weeks.

LOL! I will tell him! I really hope you get your Verandah. Verandah Man should NOT be verandahless!

We were lucky to get a cat. 6 but we are saving a lot of money by driving down and we booked very early. I can't believe how much the price has gone up since we made our reservation!

We just added another cruiser to our group. We finally convinced my sister Vicki to join us. Below is a photo of the six of us after our vacation at Disney's Vero Beach in November 2002, and yes, I already added another "mousegirl" to my countdown clock.

So, our group now includes, myself(Andy), my DW(Hazel), my DD(Angelina), my Dmom(Vi), my Dsis(Vicki), my Dniece(Vicki-aka VJ).

That's it, our group is now complete!!! We have been working on my sister ever since my niece decided to join us last month.

Wow, I haven't checked in in a week or so and I am so glad to see all of the new families that will be cruising with us! So many of us are staying at the Radisson the night before. I'll bet we run into each other at the airport as it seems all of our flights are landing between 5 and 6 pm. If not the airport, we will all be on line together checking in at the hotel!

I am so happy to see that their are more boys in the 10-12 group. They are going to have a great time. Hopefully their will be more in the 5-7 group also. I have a 7, 9, and 11 yr old with us and I know I am going to have a problem with the 7 yr old going into the group with the younger kids as he is very large for his age.

If any of the boys want to email my Chris (11.5) his email is ctoro007@aol.com.

BTW, we are also late dining as I figured the boys would snack late afternoon and the later dinner would work better for us. I am glad to see that there will be other kids at that time, I was worried that mine would miss out on something.

Happy Mother's Day to you as well. We just got home from Applebee's, I had the Ceaser Salad with garlic crusted SHRIMP, YUM! YUM!

Could you send me the first names of those cruisers in your group, and let me know if anyone is celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or any special occasion during our cruise. I'm working on a little project and this information would come in, "Handy for Andy!!!"

Hi fellow cruisers!

Did any of you start thinking about excursions for our cruise? I am considering the Butterfly Farm in St. Marten and Coral World in St. Thomas. We are not really beach goers or shoppers. I would like to snorkel at Castaway Cay as well. I am considering buying snorkel gear instead of renting.

Any opinions?

I'm not sure what we want to do for shore excursions, we are not really much for swimming, i can probably get my fill of the beach at castaway cay. I've read alot on this and the cruise critic board about the beaches not being what we would be used to in cleanliness, (and clothing optional!) The sight seeing trips would probably be best for us, but then i'm thinking we may see just as much on our own.

Kyle may opt to stay in the kids clubs during the shore times, and be just as happy, so i hesitate to book any expensive trips and have him not want to go.

So, we are still thinking about it.... But if we can get a group interested in booking the same thing that would be fun too, to go together.
