Hello Everyone,

We booked this cruise only a few weeks ago after finding a 'cannot say no to this' price on a gty 12. This will be our 3rd DCL cruise in just over a year and we have two more booked - repeat after me - my name is Karen and I'm a Disney Cruise Addict!

DH has to leave to go back to work on the 21st so myself and DDs are slipping this in before the Pin Event. DD16 also gets her GCSE results during the cruise so there will be a very nervous phone call as soon as we wake up on the 24th!!

So looking forward to it - we are just planning to relax and enjoy - oh and to go Pandora shopping in Nassau!

We would love to join in the FE exchange if it's not too late - we are in 2058 and are myself (Karen), Sophie (16) and Eleanor (11).

So glad we're getting more to participate in the FE exchange....I'm still using some of the wonderful gifts I got from my FE exchange from my cruise a year ago.

Hi, thanks for the welcome, our room number is 2058.

Both DDs and I are huge Pandora bracelet fans (www.pandora.net/en-US/jewellery) and if we buy charms in Nassau we get them tax free. So we're planning a shopping trip to John Bull, their huge department store which has a Pandora store.

To be honest we're not fans of Nassau - somewhat seedy and with very pushy vendors who all want to braid your hair or hire you a motorbike. We liked taking a boat around the harbour, but were disappointed with the Semi-Submarine tour as we saw few fish and most people felt seasick. One day we'll do Atlantis, and the Pirate Museum is also supposed to be good. Disney give you a leaflet with the recommended shopping so that will give you some good recommendations.

With DH not being with us we don't plan to wander too far, so we're happy to buy lots of charms, have a drink at the Hard Rock Cafe, and then just enjoy the ship!

We are in Rooms 6139 and 6141. Two rooms is a bit cheaper than on that sleeps all 5 of us. They are right next to each other though not connected. There were no more connected rooms available when we booked (bummer). Thanks for including us in the FE, the boys can't wait. Well, neither can my wife and I!!!!!

Yup, getting excited here!!!!

Boy, we're having crazy weather here in NJ.....last week we broiled with temperatures above 100 degrees. This week we're drowning with heavy rain.

So now my lawn is dead and drenched. At least my vegetable garden is thriving - starting to eat my own veggies.

Both kids are away at a sleep away camp this week (yahooo!!!! ). That means four consecutive days of a clean house.

I've got to start making my door signs for this cruise.

Saw Eclipse for the 2nd time - definitely recommend it. Its funny - the first time I saw it there were only women in the audience. This time there were several couples. I guess the guys are finally breaking down and seeing it.

That said, my DS would rather have root canal than see any of the Twilight movies. But he's only 15.

Now this made me smile! We've never read or seen any of the Twilight books/movies, but maybe that is because we have a DS and no DD.

When we went to the GF for a meal last summer DS13 said, "don't *ever* make me stay here". Of course, DS and DH endured tea there just for me--that's the great guys that they are.

We're going on a short camping trip this weekend--DS, me and my parents. It is the only free weekend we have until we leave for WDW. All-Star baseball has kept us quite busy! Good thing we all love baseball so much.

Other than that, just work and planning the trip. We live in the SF Bay Area so we aren't getting that extreme heat that everyone else seems to be getting. I'm actually looking forward to the FL August swelter! And we like thunderstorms.

Hi Ski & Sea ~ Just saw Eclipse today. I thought it was really good. I am definately a member of Team Switzerland. I don't know who I want Bella to end up with. I haven't read the last book yet ( Breaking Dawn) I was waiting until I saw Eclipse before I read it. I thought the movie had some very funny moments. I will probably see it again.

Hi all! Just shy of a month for the cruise for us! Who is excited?
I have not been on the boards in a few weeks as I had surgery that last week of June, so I need to update some info.

We are interested in the FE exchange. We are room 2645. We actually have connecting rooms (2645 and 2563) since 2 rooms for 5 of us was cheaper, as bucks9009 said earlier, but we will be hanging only one FE for our family.

A 3pm Dis Meet in the Promonade Lounge sounds like a plan. If I can locate them, I have a bunch of foam lime green mickey head pins from our last cruise that I passed out to help ID disboard memebers, I will bring them. For those of you who don't know the lime green mickey head is a disboard logo.

Anyone else doing Atlantis in Nassau?

Anyone else not getting email updates when someone posts a new message to our thread?

Depends on whether you want us to leave the gifts in two separate rooms or not. Some will do one gift per family or room. Some folks will do one per person, and then some will leave something in between. I'd recommend giving both rooms ...

Hi everyone,

No, we haven't gotten our cruise documents, yet. They will go to my TA first, so hopefully she's got them.

We're staying in room 8016...there are four of us....Roger, KC (me), Robbie (15) and Kristine (14).

My view regarding multiple room and FE's is that if you want to have both your room participate, then that's fine with me. Just hang the FE extenders on both doors.

Tinkified....I hope you are okay from your surgery and that you will be all mended by cruise time.

Twinglemum.....glad you liked Eclipse....I, too, liked the humor in that movie. I am a Team Jacob fan.....not that I dislike Edward, I just think Belle's personality goes more with Jacobs than Edwards. But that's more based on what goes on in the books as opposed to what we see in the movies.

You'll love Breaking Dawn...the best of the four Twilight books.

Wow...still very hot here in New Jersey....I am going to have no problem adjusting to Florida weather next month. In fact, I bet it will be cooler on Castaway Cay than in New Jersey.

As soon as I link back to the page and sign in, I get the next message, but nothing after that until I sign in again. Odd policy rule ...
