Do we know the resort/room types?

It will be in the range of:

Values - 20%

Moderates - 25%

Deluxe - 30%

Mermaid rooms at AOA, Grand Floridian Villas, and Campsites are excluded.

There are lots of little exclusions within each category as well, plus even certain room types can be different. For example, resorts like All Star Movies, POFQ and Suites at AOA to be discounted less than the others.

Room Discounts will be available tomorrow (March 13) for Visa holders, and Monday March 17 for the public.

It will cover dates from June 15 - August 28 and will be varying percentages up to 30% for stays of five nights or less, and up to 35% for stays of six or more nights. The actual percentage discount will depend on the resort and room type you choose.

What is the thought for 8/29 and beyond? It looks as if the promos have overlapped in dates recently. For example the current Spring offer ends June 15 yet this one is beginning June 15. As well as Jan 5 was S/P/D and room discount but announced on different dates. Hopefully the next promo starts 8/28 for me anyway.

I've been stating for some time now that free dining would be limited to September. Last week, I mentioned in another forum that the next round of promos would be March 13/17, which turned out to be correct. Many asked if this was free dining dates, which I said they would only be room discounts. My contention was always free dining starting on or around September 1 and running to around the 17th.

These dates lend more to those thoughts. While the free dining "could" start on the 29th, I am still leaning toward the 1st for many reasons.

As I hear more I will tell...but I'm mostly over in another thread where we discuss these things. It's the "free dining discussion (and a whole lot more)" thread.

It's Labor Day weekend, which can draw a bit of a crowd before attendance plummets for much of September. If they start a new one on the 1st, they will go after visitors to book after the "weekenders" have checked out.

There's also a Halloween Party on the 29th and 1st as well.

SHHH! Don't let the word out yet on the 29th for Halloween. It's my birthday and I don't want a packed party! All the more reason I need a discount. Now I have to buy party tickets I should just book the MM package promotion for this portion of the stay and at least get 25% off..

Looks like it's pretty solid that it will be on those dates. We will know more a bit later down the road.

So if I'm booked already I can just call and apply the discount. I don't have a Disney visa we are paying for this trip all cash. It's almost paid off so I would love a discount so my final payment will be less

You can't call until it goes public. If you're lucky, you may not even have a final payment after the discount is applied.

If you already have a "package" booked (room, tickets and dining), can you rebook with the room only discount and then add back on tickets and dining?
