I called to modify my reservation in Nemo suites and there were none available, only cars or lion king. Since I have the rest of the reservation booked from the 17th to 20th of August on a PIN offer and the 20th-25th on a free dining bounceback offer, I couldn't get the visa offer for the 15th-16th unless I switched out of Nemo. That wasn't going to happen, especially for only $68 savings. Oh well.....good luck to everyone else!

Was it not offered for nemo or did it ran out already? Its still early!

Is there a room or ticket discount included with the memory maker package?

Trying to figure out if the Memory Maker deal or the Visa discount would be better for 9 nights at Coronado Springs 8/15 - 8/24 in a standard room with the park hoppers and the waterparks and more option for 9 day tickets.

I think Nemo was just already gone because the CM told me I could keep trying for it by calling again. And she definitely said Lion King and Cars suites were available. And Little Mermaid is not on the discount at all. I would gladly have taken Lion King if I didn't already have all my other connecting dates reserved in Nemo!

Just moved from POR to Coronado Springs. Is this the right decision? UGH. I don't know! I love POR the most but CSR was a bit cheaper and we have not stayed there since my kids were little bitty. I think they will love the pool there.

Well, changed my mind and we are back at POR. They only have garden room available with the discount. I actually only saved a about $80 but that is because I had a AAA discount before applying this one and apparently it was a good AAA discount!

Same with me.. We are staying at Pop and if I switch it's only a 24 dollar discount.

FYI, be sure to compare deals. The Visa discount only saved $15.09 versus the Memory Maker deal. Basically, I got memory maker for $15.

This is true! If memory maker is a must, it might be cheaper to stick with this package for values.

I compared prices and it was only about 30.00 cheaper for me to switch from the memory maker package. We are booked at a deluxe so it's not just the values.

I have a question though. I've read over the last few pages on this topic, and I see that you can call and ask to have the discount applied to the room without cancelling your package.

But what if you want to switch to a deluxe (we're currently booked at POFQ which is not part of the promo) for the discount? If I'm doing the math correctly, with 35% off our 7 night stay, I can get a courtyard view room at WL for only $4 more per night than what we're paying right now for a garden view at POFQ.

Would I:

A) cancel our current package on Monday and book a room only at Wilderness Lodge, adding tickets later (and maybe adding back in dining, maybe not)

B) modify our current package to Wilderness Lodge today and then call back and apply the discount to our room on Monday morning, thus keeping our dining plan (which we've decided we don't care if we have or not)

I've never changed a room booking before and I really want to take advantage of the discount, but I want to make sure I do it in the most beneficial and least complicated way possible.

the offer is UP to 35% off and some of the deluxe hotels may be 20, 25, 30 or 35% off. I don't know if a chart is available yet but keep that in mind. Normally WL is not part of the higher discount because it is a lower priced deluxe

We're booked at a moderate, so it's good to compare all levels of resorts with the Visa discount and the Memory Maker discount.
