I was able to apply the discount to my reservation yesterday. Saved $150 on my ASMu. I finally got my discount.:banana:

Me Me Me!! We are going to Florida. August 9-16th. It is our first trip to Disney and I am so excited! We haven't told our kids yet, 9.6.and almost 2. (Strill trying to come up with the best way to tell them!) The older two are girls and the youngest is a boy...it will be kind of lost on him now.
I have made reservations at All Star Movies and started on the dining reservations. Its tough to plan what time to do meals. Any suggestions for that? I have a few down, like the Norway at Epcot for the Princess dinner, Tusker house for the Mickey, Donald and friends, and Sci-fi at Hollywood Studios.
We are flying in and staying two nights off property, but trying to figure that out still. (Getting from hotel to disney resort.)
I have been obsessed with planning!! Its all I can think about. :)
The first time we went, our DS had just turned 2 and he loooooved it. He doesn't remember anything really now but I have pictures everywhere and we talk about it. Even though he doesn't remember it, the joy he had at the time was so worth it. Those are great ages for your kids, they'll love it!

Sci-fi is great! Try to get a car table...those are awesome!

1st trip-AWESOME:cheer2: Welcome to TEAM AUGUST:dance3:

As far as ADR's go, just make ressies where you want, when you want, you can always change them when you get down there, just try not to get into a situation where you lose a deposit:headache:

Realize your starting an insatiable habit-because your kids are going to want to start planning the next WDW trip as soon as this ones over:goodvibes

See you around the August board-lots of nice people here:grouphug:

Oh my gosh, Dis planning is an addiction, isn't it?!

August? August? Who goes to WDW in August? We are! My husband and I and our two teen girls will be staying at YC August 12-17! We are excited....we haven't been to WDW in years.....we can't wait!!

Hey neighbor! :)
Can't wait to get out of this lousy weather and into the Disney August heat!
Howdy back to ya.
Yeah - by August, we should have all the practice we need to tolerate all that humidity! Hopefully, the lousy weather ends today - looks like it!

Why is August taking so loooong?!

It must have been so weird! Were you back home in time for no electricity? Honestly, I didn't really care for the Ocean City vacation...I totally would've gone to WDW any day over there!

Power came back on 3 days before we were due to come back home. Talk about good timing! LOL

Aug.26/2012 to Sept.02/2012 CBR family of 4 my 3rd trip the rest it's their 1rst we're so psyched to be going can't wait :cool1:

Aug 20 to Sept. 2 for us at CSR.

I have access to someone with a room block at CSR for late August, with great room rates at $124 per night and discounted park tickets that come with a free water park day. Also a dessert party at EPCOT Illuminations is included. Private message me if you want the contact information.

Just booked our 2012 trip! We'll be at POP August 22-26. Can you add us to the list? :goodvibes

YAY!! We're staying at POP too-have you stayed there before?- because we have not. I hope we LOVE it!!:)

Happy planning!:cutie:

We've stayed there twice and we're going back this year. It may not be luxurious but it's still a great hotel. It's got great themeing, food court, service, rooms are smaller but cute/clean. It's an awesome option to get all the perks of Disney but at a great price.

It's been a Long Time coming, but we've booked our trip and are 113 days out. Staying at ASP with FREE DINING. We can't wait, will be a very huge surprise for our 2 DD's, they have no idea. Hope there are other members going around that date, and hope to see some of you down there. It will be a Magical Time :wizard:

So I logged onto Disney World.com and it says we have 112 days until my vacation. Love the anticipation but hate the wait. Does that make sense?

We love it too, and surely cannot wait, but I really hate to rush summer. I also have a Disney Countdown App that helps with the reminder to help me get excited about our trip.
:thumbsup2

Hi All, we are also going to WDW for the first time this August 12-18. We will be staying at the Poly. 98 days to go!:cool1:

Yay!!! So happy to join this thread!

We're going August 16-23: JUST before "free dining" starts so I'm hoping for low crowds! Staying at CBR.

I met lots of great friends on "month" threads in the past - still keep in touch with my July 2009 group to this day! So I hope to make lots of new friends in this group!

We are moving down to double digits this week! Cannot wait!

That's fantastic! The discount was actually good at POP but only 5%. Not even enough to advertise!
