Welcome Makorin!!!! I think you will win the prize for traveling the furthest.

Arlene, do you think Martin will be able to speak to these new comers and explain it in Japanese? We don't want them scared off.

Can't believe we are getting so close -- Here is my list for planning (Thanks, Elf!)

Flight to CA - done, thanks Delta FF miles
Passports - done, but will need to renew it for 2006!
Shuttle to HISP - need to reserve with Super Shuttle
Disneyland Park tickets - so sad that I don't get to go
Bus to Pier - Being arranged by Janice, Travel Agent Extrodinaire
Resort at WDW - Done, staying at Pop
WDW tickets - still thinking on that, I still have 2 days left from October.
Transport to Pop - Done, Avis R-A-C, but still thinking about Magical Express
Flight home - done, thanks Delta FF mile!

Got my new Mickey Mouse detail Laptop Case yesterday, but still don't know if I am going to bring it or not.

Boring day here, nothing but 6 loads of laundry, yuk!

:goodvibes

I do want to try to book the Fantasmic dessert buffet - for 8/18. Hoping for 2 shows that night and going to the 10:30 one. :cool1:

Benita pointed out that to do it on the 17th would be suicide. We are flying to CA that morning 7:00 AM flight - so we will be heading to the airport by 5:00 AM at the latest. So figure we will be up from 4:30 AM East Coast time - and our bodies will be exhausted by the 9:00 show

I just made our shuttle van resvervations. We are going with Prime Time shuttle (thanks Andrew). There are 5 passengers with 5 bags. Private van service from LAX to HISP is $74.75 and this includes a 15% gratuity to the driver. That makes the transfer $14.95 per person (not too bad).

Karmel was $90.60 for a private (not sure if that included gratuity)

Super Shuttle you had to call first. No online quote just a place to make a reservation online (No Thanks).

I reserved a rental car for the day in Orlando. We are taking Mark's bus and checking in our bags early. Then I reserved a car through Budget. I used the Wal mart code and got an intermediate for $25.59 (all taxes and charges included). This was cheaper than a one way rental from the port with a drop off at MCO. Plus, we won't have bags to worry about. I am not sure what we are going to do for the day in Orlando, any suggestions? We are thinking something non-Disney. :rolleyes1

I think I am down to Shore Excursions and paying for lanyards/pins! :cheer2:

I am sorry I dont write very often I am more of a quick lookie lue typr person. I am also so busy and reading a few pages once in a while is about all I have time for.To add to my list I have been helping our english Bullgog Abby with her 6 new babbies. She is having trouble so we have to help by hand feeding them. They are now three weeks old and I dont have to get up every two hours made them go from 10:00pm to 4:00am last night allthough one boy was not happy. I canot tell you all how nice it is to read your storys, I am just sorry that I dont have more time to chat. A lot of you have really worked hard to make this trip of a lifetime even more fun. I do read the newsletter and think its the best source of information for me. I want to buy the pins the shirts and to meet you all at the Dis meet. MY Daughter and I did meet DEN VAl and her Two super sweet girls we all had a great time. Would love to do it again VAl.
:badpc: :cloud9: We are waiting here in Colorado for a big snow storm makes me itch even harder for the day I will be up by the pool with nothing to do.

Sacrelig!!!!!!! If you haven't been to the Kennedy Space Center or the Smithsonion Air and Space Museum, the space center is a nice day trip. If I only had less than a day, I might hit the Florida Mall, if I had any $ left from the trip. I am sure there will be other suggestions. Orlando is one giant tourist destination.

Dencord, how fun to have puppies. I remember way back when, my tiny toy poodle has 2 puppies, I had to stay in the room the whole time she was having them. I hi ope they all grow up strong. We don't mind if you skim, being on the cruise is the most important thing!

Just booked my shuttle from SNA to HOJO.
Used part of my savings from COSTCO to arrange trip insurance.

All I need are DL tickets and excursions. :cool1:

Hey We might see you there! That's the night I'm thinking to get a ressie!LOL

Wouldn't it be funny if it was all "Ship of Fools"!

I also agree it would be suicide to try for the 17th!LOL

Marsha mentioned the Florida Mall. If you are interested in malls, the relatively new Mall at Millenia is really nice. Upscale, with Nieman Marcus, Saks 5th Avenue, Bergdorfs, Tiffany's, Sony store, Apple store, Tommy Bahama's and all the others. Plus some nice dining - PF Changs, Cheescake Factory, McCormicks Seafood plus a few others. It's right off I-4 just north (west) of Universal Studios.

Thanks for the heads up Bob. The brotherhood must stick together to fight this insidious malady!! The lientery that could ensue would be fatal!!!!

Cheers,
Grumbo ;)

I think I either married a Saint or a woman with a genetic abnormanity. ;)
She hates all those places, and really doesn't like shopping that much! I'll have to do some research and see if this condition is passed on to our offspring. I love true scientific research! :wave2:

I believe if you check this may be a part of the DNA. I have articles describing how this evolved. Goes back to the "Big Bang" theory. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to occur in the Carolinas, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. I'll PM you my research on this.
I think Mary is more than likely a Saint as opposed to anything genetic. ;) After all she puts up with you :rotfl:

Cheers,
Grumbo

Welcome aboard the Ship of Fools Makorin!

Paul: Beautiful home. We have no sign of spring either.

I need to look at shuttle transportation from LAX to HOJO's again, now that I know I will be taking DD's carseat.

I still need to get those DL tickets.
