1. You don't moonlight for your company's competitor.

2. You don't cheat on your wife with a neighbor.

3. Any last but not least. You don't rag on the Ship of
Fools on the same message board!!

Now we're gonna have to go and post on your other thread. It could get ugly, very ugly. ( O.K. just ugly- We'll keep Scratch over here!!;) )

I was being a very good boy on my other cruise, passing along nice info about full moons, and along comes Grumbo!!! Everything went to hell in a handbasket after that!!! Doesn't that man have anything to do at work??? He wastes more time on these boards than I do. He shows up everywhere!!!

Doesn't he work for a Governmental Agency!?!?!?!?

I rest my case!

They don't work!

Used it while in Vegas/California this year and what a great way of avoiding the lineups.

Grumbo,

I also have Fastbreak and loved it when I got to bypass the huge line at MCO a couple of weeks ago. A lot of people weren't happy that they had to stand there though.

Anyway, what I do is, I book online with a discount code and then call Budget to have them add my Fastbreak number to the ressie so I don't have to wait in any lines to get the car. That way, I get a discounted rate (something that using the Fastbreak number doesn't do) and am still able to use Fastbreak.

Not sure if you or anyone else knew about this. Here is a website that has a lot of discount codes for all the rental companies. I al ready booked our car, but am waiting for the 2005 codes to come out, which will probably be in January.

Just so you know, that sometimes this site is down so you have to try different times of the day to get to it. It saved me quite a bit of money on our previous trips.

You can also try mousesavers.com for codes too.

Thanks Renee I'll look at those sites as it gets closer and see if I can get any better deals.
Budget does not provide Fastbreak service at Port Canaveral according to their website unfortunately. I'll use it at LAX though. Yes I know what you mean about walking by the loads of people standing in line. Good for you, but lots of upset folks looking at you wondering why THEY have to spend an hour in line :)

Cheers,

Good morning, all!

Well, here I am, having another terrible day at work. Thanks to a system crash yesterday, I lost about 10 hours of work and I’m having a hard time motivating myself to do it again. (It wasn’t that exciting the first time!) So of course, I’m “cruise dreaming” while I’m working.

Question – are there any scuba divers in our merry band? DH and I are both certified (divers, that is) and we’re interested in any diving opportunities in Cabo San Lucas or Acapulco. We’ve been to Curacao before on a dive holiday so we know what to expect there.

I’m not sure whether just one or both of us will be diving. Lara’s too young, so I’m probably looking for snorkelling excursions to do with her. However, I’d like Martin to have the chance to go diving again. It was one of his great passions in life, but given up when our DD was born. Since he’s being such a great sport about letting Lara and I plan whatever we like regarding Disney, I’d like to find him some dive “buddies” that he can go out with in at least one or two places.

Anyone here????

Arlene

Arlene, gotta admit, i am afraid of diving!!!! can i snorkel instead????

Sure thing, Melinda!

I'm trying to get diving opportunities for Martin - I'm probably the one who will be snorkelling with Lara. (Who said you weren't planning your "shore excursions"?!?;) )

We've done several things.

1. We've met on Deck 10 for the sailaway party.

2. We have guest services leave a message on everyone's phone stating the location, time and date of the DIS meet. We've done this with our group picture for almost 100 people, and it works out great.

3. We have a set day and time and have people meet for lunch in a certain restaurant. We chose Pariott Cay.

Ours was pretty easy to do since we have someone that keeps a list of everyone in our group with stateroom numbers and email addresses, but not everyone does this. You can always decide what to do and post it before you leave or email the group.

We've also had pins and shirts made that we've worn so people can "find" each other. Might not be enough time left for that though.

Not sure if this is what you wanted. Whatever you do, you'll have a great time meeting all your new friends.

If you want more info, let me know.

Reneé

Melinda- My only advice would be to skip the 1st day. Everyone is so busy rushing around that the meet becomes a hello/goodbye meet. We met at the lounge on deck 3...Mark

P.S.- Are you sure they're still gonna want to meet up with you??;)
