Holy Crap!!! I just logged on to pass some info to a "nice person" on my November cruise, and next thing I know I'm now hosting a party!!! Wait til Mary finds out. Someone's gonna be in big trouble!!! (Me first - then you guys)

I have a plan!! Go ahead Amanda and give them my address. They don't know I plan on moving near you in a few months. HeHe!!

You guys had a busy night while I was sleeping!

Bob - I'm still confirming 5 from HOJO's to the port for August 20. That number's firm unless Uncle doesn't like his "surprise" trip and insists on cancelling. (He has no idea he's booked on this, but Auntie's VERY strong-willed so I'm betting they'll be there!)

I'd better jump on this car rental bandwagon soon - we're now planning to fly back to Toronto Sunday at 12:15, so we'll have one night at WDW. We rented a Ford Explorer in March, which had just enough room for everyone's luggage.

Although I guess we're all partying at Bob and Mary's before heading off, huh? Great idea, Melinda ... er, Mark!

That's the flight! It's the only one we've booked so far. Still debating with the west coast relatives on how long we have to stay in Vancouver before going to Disneyland

Haven't been on-line in a week and since my dd is napping (praise the Lord!) I have time!

Party at Bob's it is!! Unfortunately--like he said--cruise time next year he'll be living by me (closer to Disney now instead of the Port). The old fart should be retired by then and probably have nothing to do---so those of you on your way to MCO or Disneyworld could still come by his house to party. Hopefully their pool will be done by then, too. But my mom is like the gestapo (sp?) when it comes to messes--so clean up any spilled alcohol, please (or in dad's case--drool).
And by the way--I will be taking the $10 cover charge at the door so budget that in your vacation fund. (It will help me pay my mortgage).

Okay Bob there are several lovely homes for sale around either Melindas' place or mine. How are you with a snow shovel? They seem to be forecasting a heavy year for the white stuff. Of course if you move up here you won't have to worry too much about hurricanes. They only hit here occasionally. We do have flood problems but they aren't all that bad if you have a boat.


Voice now sounds like an ailing fog horn. But have antibiotic from the MD. Cannot be sick for either Tday or the week after. Am going to WDW no matter what. At least we aren't flying down. Can get better on the drive down.

HOLY COW.....

I just checked on the flight we reserved for return from Orlando on 9/3/05. When I booked the one-way flight home on U.S. Air, it was $79/pp. What a steal....

However, I just went on their website just for the heck of it and the same flight is now $255/pp ONE WAY! I can't believe it has tripled in price. Thank goodness I went with my gut instinct and bought the tickets the day their itinerary opened. They did change the departure time from 11:45 to 12:20, but that still gets us home three hours before the flight we normally get stuck taking in the afternoon. I think maybe the airlines caught wind of the influx of passengers that day!

Now I just have to book our flight from Phila to Las Vegas. Those prices are pretty much staying the same.

Don't play chess - but that drinking game does look good - and I do have 10 months til we leave to learn (though something tells me after the 4th or 5th move - chess skills won't be an issue).

I'd better get some rates -since we are also planning to rent a car from PC to MCO -- to visit Downtown Disney before the flight home.

Don't know what I did wrong!!!
Can't wait til I retire, move into her neighborhood, visit her daily, and wet myself on her new sofa!!!

You do realize that she will do a "Depends" check before she lets you into the house! If you don't have them on I'm sure your GD will lend you a pair of her diapers!LOL

Yeah Bob, i take offense at that!!! Snowing is way better than hurricanes!!! And Snow is so white so pure!! Ever tried doing an angel in a swamp????? or you just afraid of being thrown by snow balls???? LOL!!!!

This could be another money making opportunity for JGE, though. They could set up an "excursion" on CC and substitute "Sand Writing" on the Family Beach, vs "Snow Writing". Grumbo, since he is also from snow country, could give a VERY SHORT lesson to us snow deprived males. The ladies in the group could judge our "skills" I'm sure that would make a hit with the moms and dads of kids on the beach!
