Is that more "Sisterhood" speak?? What's a nap?? Must be something only mom's and women do!!...Mark
I have to go wake up DH from his nap now. Which catagory does he fit into...Mom's or women??

I am so happy. My new computer came today. Bad thing is the FedEx man dropped it off at our neighbor's house and they're not home! Just my luck.

On another note, I won't be on the boards this weekend since we're going to
see the Christmas lights at Hershey Park. I can't wait me and Lenny have been
there before for this, but this is the first time for Haley. She loves Christmas
lights so she should have a great time. We're also having breakfast with Santa,
Mrs. Claus and the Hershey characters (won't be the same as Disney, but it'll
do) on Sunday.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Reneé

Sounds like you have some family issues to look into!! Poor guy, let him rest!! He's probably exhausted from working so hard. I don't doubt he's resting up before he goes off to his 2nd job so you can keep you in the comfort you demand!!...Mark

Actually his afternoon Christmas party wore him out and he needed a nap to make it through my evening Christmas party. Poor guy parties too much!!

Sounds like a natural for the Ship of Fools!!...mark

During her cruise, Melinda was kind enough to go and measure a stateroom door for someone who needed the dimensions for a gift wrapping idea. I, of course, seized on the moment and made a request of my own!

mark & sandra said:
Hey Melinda, Sandy and I are having an argument about the length of the ship. I say it's 964 feet long and she says it's 965 feet long. Can you help us out by going up to Deck 9 and measuring it from bow to stern for us?? Thanks, your a doll!...Mark
To which her shipmate TiggerKing responded
TiggerKing said:
Okay, this explains why I saw Melinda bent over with that ruler laid out on the deck going 927, 928...and then when I said hello she screamed at me and went running back to the front of the ship and started going 1, 2....don't know what go into her!

How many times do you think Melinda was interupted and had to start over again??

I was lurking around the other forum and this what i found!!

mark & sandra said:
Houzer, yes I offered to drug her. I knew she wouldn't go when I offered her alternative means to get there, and she refused. Mark

Ooh, This Mark scares me!!! These were his own words.... Watch out sisters, You may want to steer clear of this mad man carrying syringes around!! :charac4: Poor Sandra!!

Well i was only on a 4 night cruise you know and couldnt finish it.. Now i will have MORE time when i go on the Repo cruise!!! ;)

Hey Renee, meant to tell you that DS Alex had his haircut at the Barber Shop on Main Street, the last day of our vacation.. We waited about 30 mins, was there at 4:30. In the meantime we had PS for Tony's for 5:15 and then had the MMVCP so it worked out great. He had his hair all spiked. It was a woman that did it and she did a fantastic job!! Alex looked so cute!!

And Grumbo, i think about you way too much!! My parents came last night and bought my kids the Gingerbread House Kit and on it was a sticker "Made in Canada" and i said out loud and a distinguished voice "GRUMBO" and everyone looked at me and gave me the "huh?" look!!! Bob just rolled his eyes!!! LOL!!!

Bmwdsny said:

Huh!!! How can anyone say the word "Grumbo" in a distinguished voice???
That's like me saying I introduced myself in my intelligent voice as "Izzinmac"!!! Let's face it... Grumbo rhymes with Jumbo, Dumbo, and Gumbo...none of which fall in the "distinguished" category!

Oh Bob, you just like my Bob!! Why you have to be so literal???? What i meant was, i did it in a "Darth Vader" type talk and said, "Grumbo!!!!"

OK?????? GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next time i won't share as much with you people anymore!!!!!

Melinda...just an idea!!

This time instead of taking just one 12" ruler, and having to move it each foot....why don't you bring 1000 12 inch rulers, and then you could just lay them end to end and save a lot of time!

Hey Mel,

I'll just bring my dh's laser tape measure, and then we'll have it for other uses too (like "zapping" the LooneyFOOLS from behind if ya' know what I mean, LOL!)

Anyway, wanted you to know that your Residence Inn is two to five minutes from the DL area (depending on where you are going), so you are also very close to HoJo's. Hope this helps.

Glad you got some rest yesterday! Are you getting your tree today? We got ours last night, and it is beautiful! Couldn't get it last weekend due to the rain.

See ya'!

Barbara (PS Renee' - glad you received your computer, hurray! Know you are having fun at Hershey's - we don't have those here, but I've heard about them. Hope to see your photos of Haley with Santa!!! This is a fun age for you guys - well actually, they are all fun!)

OK, so dd is sick today, dh is very tired, ds is grounded, and I need to rest up too. So, my FIL just sent this list of useless facts via e-mail. I almost did not read it, but as I have the time...I did. Some turned out to be very interesting after all! Most of you probably do not have the time right now to read it, but here it is in honor of Mark!

Scratch, Arlene, Grumbo....You Canadaians are American-wanna-be's!!!!!!! :cool1:

Thanks Barbara!! You didn't waste your time typing these facts. I read them to my mother who is sitting here with me in my home office. Very interesting!! I hope do you have a rested day!! Maybe you all will have a
better day tomorrow!! We already have our fake C-mas tree up in our family room before we left the trip but Bob won a real C Mas tree from work and he, Alex, and my father are out now to get it and we will put in on our front porch and will decorate it tonight. That will look pretty there!

Laser ruler is a better idea!! At least, We can play with it!!! wink wink!!

Oh i didn't know Renee was going to Hershey..I must have missed her post. Hershey is only 1 1/4 hour from here. Gloomy day here though!! But i hope she has a good time anyway.

hey Grumbo, see that?? Izzi is calling you Jumbo, Dumbo Grumbo!!!!! tsk tsk!!!

Just relaxing here now with my mom (she is sewing) and i have to pick up my DD in a hour from a birthday party dance. I am reading her some past posts from here and she is just rolling her eyes!!!!!! LOL!!!

Thanks, Melinda! Nice for you to have a special weekend with your parents, especially a good visit with your mom! It's my mom's birthday today, and we were going to see her. With dd sick though, and so we couldn't. :( Well, we'll just go next weekend instead. So, I'm missing my mom today. Glad you are with yours!

Hey, congrats on the Christmas tree won by your dh!!! I was wondering how you all do it in the cold of winter - that is, get a tree. I would get a fake one too!

Well, dd wants me to spend some time with her, so off we go. Actually, it's kinda nice as it forces us to slow down a bit. Dh is sleeping which is an extreme rarity for him, so I know he needs it. I hope he is not getting sick too.

Happy Saturday! Tell your mom "Hi" and I'm sure she's getting a chuckle from our thread!

Barbara :)
