Will you have a "final" FE list? I have some items already, but I want to make sure I have enough goodies for everyone.

I've decided to do a "cut off" of Fish Extender on July 3rd. 30 days before we sail. I'm doing this that early because I'm leaving on July 27th for our vacation beginnings (time at West Palm with in-laws then a few days at BCV) and I know other people are doing the same and I won't have time to add/update AND shop and create the gifts after that. I plan on shipping a lot of things down as its less expensive than paying another bag fee.

I have planned on publishing the list and offer to email everyone participating the map of rooms on the list with highlighted staterooms. I know, CRAZY ORGANIZED.

Nice! I love when other people are crazy organized!

Speaking of FE gifts we should come up with some sort of theme phrase or something like (purposefully lame so you will all come up with something better) "Sailing the Dream August 2-7, 2011"

I just can't wait to be warm! It has been a VERY cold rainy spring here. A nearby ski resort just announced that closing day this year will be July 4 Also my Orthopedic surgeon said the best physical therapy for my foot at this point would be walking in sand...

I hope we can find a place for a quick meet the first day so the kids can meet each other. I find the meeting at that time made all the difference. Plus there isn't much time on a shorter cruise if they don't hook up early.

We have a nice little group here on our cruise. If you read back through the posts you will see we are trying to plan a couple of DIS meets - one at WDW for those of us who will be there before the cruise and one on embarkation day. Hi there! DH and I are also in PA and I am bringing our DD9 to the cruise (along with her older sister DD18). I am the keeper of the Fish Exchange for the cruise. There are a lot of cool people on here. We even have men who "just happen" to coordinate their clothing choices (who am I to say if that's strange ). There are 4 girls at this time at the age of 9 by my count.

You're so lucky 10 days before the cruise at the world.

We just booked last week. Me, wife, son (3), mother and father-in-law. We did the 4 day last year. Pretty awesome. Anyone know if it's possible to book the jet ski after we get there? Nothing is available right now.

I don't really know for sure about the jet skis. I do know that I have heard in the past that they hold back a few of the Palo reservations and excursions. First of all, I would keep checking for something to open up online. Sometimes people will cancel. Second, if you are not able to get the excursion before you get on board then I would check with the excursion desk as soon as they open and see if there are any openings available.

I have a DS9 that would be looking to hang out with some kids his age. We should get them together online before we sail. His BFF had to back out of the cruise and can't go so he was a little upset about it. We are from PA also!!

4 girls, age 9, wow... the ship could be in trouble! Paige has been e-mailing with Mackenzie I am sure they would be happy to include the others. Paige has been so excited that she has been able to e-mail someone her age that is going on the cruise!

Hot is an understatement here in MD -heat index is 105 today I believe..

Brittany and David left Virginia this morning and now they are about 2 hours from here. I am so excited! I think I need to open a bottle of wine to calm myself down.

I know it's only been a couple of weeks since I saw them, but I don't get to see them very often so it's exciting every time. They will be here for almost two weeks. Next week we are flying down to Miami to find them an apartment. Quick 3 day trip so should be pretty crazy.

Thanks guys, and I will enjoy the time with them. It gets so much harder once they are off at college (or out of it) so I do truly appreciate every chance I get to see them.

I am SO GLAD you are "crazy organized", because I am definitely not!!!
If you get a chance, can you also group the people according to age - such as, adults, teens, preteens, children, infants?

I was picking up a few odds and ends, and thought is would be easier if we knew how many gifts in each age group we needed.

I totally agree! My kids, well, actually DD is 20 and DS is 16, are kind of shy and would love to meet someone to hang out with during the cruise.

A quick update on us:

I go to the on-line check in.

It asks for our passport numbers. Great, I have to go and find them.

I dig around and found them in our home safe. So far, so good.

I open them up, and see
Date of expiration: May 15, 2011.

So, yesterday, we all headed down to the passport office. Kids had to apply in person because they younger than 16 when they got their last passports. We got it all done and the lady in the office assures us that we will get them in plenty of time.

OK, next scenario.
DH asks if I booked our air travel yet.

WHAT? I thought he was going to use his Frequent Flier miles and book them!
So, I get on the United website and FORTUNATELY, there are still lots of availability at the 50,000 mile level - none, of course, at the 25,000 mile level. Luckily, we have enough miles to swing it.

OK, so I think we are still coming!!
I've booked Radisson at the Port long time ago for the night before.

Now, all I have to do is the rental car from MCO to the port, and back.
