Beautiful couple

Wonderful FE!

I'm home alone!!!!! Jack started a new job and the kids went to school. I've taught my on-line courses in my pjs and and soon going to attack a pile of dishes!

I received a phone call from our son Ryan today. He said that he is now engaged with his lovely future bride. He was so excited while he was sharing his experience. And since Kim (disneymom8489) was teaching class I was the first he called.

Neener, neener, neener babe.

EMPTY NEST - here we come!!!:cool1::thumbsup2:cool1::thumbsup2

Congratulations! They are a beautiful couple.

Tomorrow marks our 12th!

In-laws are taking the kids and we are having grown up dinner!

Congratulations! I hope you had a great dinner.

That is amazing! I went on ebay on Friday to order one, and the lady I was going to order from must have taken hers off of ebay. I don't care for the ones I saw as much as yours!

We were in Austin for the weekend for my husband's nephew's wedding. I gave a brunch for the bride and bridesmaids'. It was a lot of fun. My POC shirt came in for Pirate night and a friend is going to wear it on her cruise in a few weeks then send it back to me. I'm beginning to get a few more things done, but I still have a long list...

Thanks ladies! Sewing is my passion. I spend almost all of my free time in front of my sewing machine. Right now, I'm working on most of the outfits that DD4 will wear on the cruise and I hope to get around to the pillowcases.

marcij, where did you find your POC tee?

We got our passports in the mail today! Yea!

They were pretty quick ... almost exactly three weeks from the time we applied.

Ahh, another thing on my to-do list. Hopefully, we can get there next week. No, we HAVE to go next week. Anybody else still need passports?

My parents just applied for theirs last week. I hope that they come quickly!

I can't believe that June 1 is almost here! We are going to make a paper chain then to count down the days to the cruise.

It's a rhinestone shirt and I got it at designerrhinestonefashions . com. Marcia has been making me shirts for our baseball and soccer teams, and I saw the shirt on her website. It's pricey, but I know I'll get lots of wear out of it.

Did you make the outfit on your daughter in your sig?

LOVE that website!!! I'm a sucker for anything that blings and these are gorgeous. I agree, they are pricey but she uses a heck of alot of crystals. I'm adding this one to my bookmarks.

No, the stepsisters outfit was made by a friend. Here is the last dress I made for her.

You have a great talent! (And she is such a doll!)

LadyRob - Your DD's dress is beyond adorable! You are so talented and should go into the dressmaking business!! :)

What a cute photo - you are so talented.

I am embarrassed to say I have great difficulty even threading a needle never mind the sewing part:rolleyes1. If a button comes off in our house I get the thread and needle and hairspray- I learnt a few years back that if you hairspray the end of the thread it goes hard and you can get it through the needle easier:thumbsup2 So thats Helen's tip for the day

BTW did we decide on a name for our cruise - I'm going to make some door posters and could not remember if we'd chosen a name -does anyone else decorate thier door?

I can't beleive its nearly June -:cool1:

I'm doing ok with the weight loss too- I've dropped a dress size so its going in the right direction another plus is the $£ exchange rate is climbing.

I have my 2010 cruise booked (since opening) its a 11 night med cruise again. (well its rude for Mickey to come all the way to us and we not go on)But I'm actually thinking of rebooking on board as its the same price and you get 10% off plus OBC.

Oh well take care all:grouphug:

Thanks for the compliments ladies. :)

disneymom8589, I do sew for others but not as much as I'd like to. I'm also a pharmacist so that takes up a good amount of my week.

MrsJobba1, a huge congrats on the weight loss. Will you please send some motivation my way? Dropping one dress size would be nice. And the hairspray tip is pretty clever. I've never heard of that.

You can count me in for door decor. Has anything been suggested for a name? I'm not good with stuff like that.

LOVE the hairspray tip. I had not heard of that before!

Hi guys

Well for once the weather is fab here (not Fl hot, but hot for the UK):thumbsup2

Hope you have a great Friday

Dave and I are at my cousins wedding tomorrow so hopefully the good weather will last.

Take care
:grouphug:

Oh nearly forgot

LadyRob -you can do it -Everytime I am going to eat something I am picturing myself on the cruise - if its a cake I say they make better on the magic and put it back down.; Think about your formal night photos- how do you want to look -every little bit counts:yay:

Okay, this is why we LOVE Disney - I booked air & ground transp. through them for this trip, 'cause it makes the trip a whole lot easier. They have been regularly calling me to let me know they've emailed flight changes my way. Yesterday it was to let me know that they switched our flight coming home so that our layover is shorter. I didn't expect it and I was okay with the layover before but this was a nice little bit of good news.

I know that Disney is a little pricier than other options but the service has always been top-notch.

Now if we just could get a stateroom upgrade ;). (I booked a Cat 9 this time to save money ... we've always had Cat 6 or Cat 4 verandahs before so I hope I don't regret saving that $1,200, ha ha)

Lady Rob - LOVE the dress! I'm planning on making some things for my DD for the cruise - but I may or may not actually get to it! I'm making costumes for a show that opens the end of July so I may get tired of sewing.

I had to miss weighing in at Weight Watchers this week - fingers crossed for a 2 pound loss next Tuesday!

Hey Everyone!

I haven't been on DIS in forever..but I'm glad I'm back.

My DF (soon to be my DW) will be spending our Honeymoon on this cruise with all of you, too. Hope to bump into some of you there.

BTW, can you believe we leave 9 weeks from tomorrow! :-)
