Well I guess we are bit more fortunate- We have 10 kilo for each carry on and 32 kilo (70 pounds!) for the checked. I feel a little better now and I'm sure I can get it all in!

ahhh there are so many new people!!! We are a three person, US Army family stationed in Germany- Me(27), DH (27), and DD (6 months) I am still trying to figure out if anyone wants to do something for Rome with us.

Naples as well but it should be QUITE hot and I am not sure if we are up to a full day there. We really wanted to see Pompeii.


Please PM me if you are interested in a private tour/port pick up in Rome.

We wouldn't mind at all splitting a tour with you. We'll talk at the meet and greet. The more the merrier!

I don't think I will make it to the meet on Thursday at 12:30 bc I am sure that we will be trying to eat lunch at that time!!! Are you meeting later in the day at all? We are room 7619. If you come up with something, there are three of us (dd is 6 months). Let us know! I have been googling private tours but you have to arrange in advance. I can do that if someone wants to commit to it with us! We leave tuesday and won't have internet until our trip is over. haha

We also only have 20Kilo each and 8 Kilo for carry on's I am right at my limit.
I am sure you will look great in your dress and straw hat. They are men they have no idea.

wow! I was panicking with two suitcases 23 KG and two carryons 10Kg! We leave tuesday as well but from Munich. We are staying on las ramblas. I am not even packed!!!

I have a few dresses since they take up less space and weight, then I think a total of 3 pairs of pants and tops. The shoes is where I had the problem, I have had my clothes laid out for about a week now so I could get organized. I think DD's clothes have been packed for over a two weeks. I really don't like to waiting to the last minute

5 dresses, 1 skirt, 2 skorts, 2 shorts, 2 capri/long shorts (depending on your perspective and height). 6 pairs of shoes. 2 swimsuits. various shirts and coverups.

4 dresses (which I will rotate throughout dinner so yay for my dining companions seeing me in the same stuff!), 3 jean skirts, one jean shorts, one longer cotton skirt for Rome, 8 shirts, two pairs of sandles, 5 sports bras, 5 nursing tanks, 2 nursing bras, 12 undies, three pairs athletic shorts, 6 t-shirts. I am needing to do laundry at least once bc I need to wash the nursing tanks, I am sure. It'll get hot down in the med! Also- two bikinis.

thanks for the forecasts. I was just about to look them up myself....Surprised about Corsica...I thouught it wuld be warmer...that was going to be our beach day..I guess we will see.

So I'm so far behind it's not funny. Haven't finished laundry yet, and haven't put a thing in a suitcase or taken it out of a closet. My cancel the swimming part of our outting today, need the time to pack. I haven't been able to sleep past 6:30 am any day this weekend, not sure why that is. So now I'm hoping the kids sleep in so that I can print out all our paperwork.

I think we may reveal the surprise at the airport tomorrow night. We are going on a tour the next morning with other disbdrs and I'm afraid they'll either figure it out or someone will slip. I know I have many times, so when others do, it will put things more in perspective. This way we can tell them.
We'll see.

I'm so tired, maybe that will bode well for sleeping on the plane (yeh right). Lori should be in Paris now, Mike is in Barcelona already. Tomorrow, Kim will also be in Barcelona. Yikes...I can't believe it's here...it's so surreal.

In answer to your question, my first posting to this board was when I got back from my last cruise after I booked this on board 11/9/2008.

I just made a power point to have the kids read to slowly reveal the information...I think DH has finally agreed.

Wow! This board is hoppin'! It is so nice to see everybody being so excited! I can't believe it's almost here!
DD and I have waaayyy too many shoes, but oh well! This seems like the LONGEST weekend ever, just waiting for the time to pass! The weather looks promising! Safe travels to everyone leaving today! Mostly housecleaning going on here. I LOVE that my ticker is getting so close to the end! (or beginning of the cruise!!! )

I have 9 year old twins....yes and I've kept this secret for almost 2 years....so anyone that needs a secret kept...you know that I can do it.
