We were assigned a cat 10 deluxe inside, which considering what we paid, I am extemly happy with. I may try and upgrade at the Port if any are available and the price is right.

Speaking of magnets, we have never put any on our door before (the horror!) but since joining the boards I've been wanting to put some up this year. We have ordered some name tags and were going to put up some 'ears' too. I wasn't sure what else to do. What are you guys doing?

I keep checking mine as it's just about perfect and I couldn't have asked for me. I keep thinking I'm imagining it, it's probably my favorite cat 4 room, though I enjoyed our last summer and wanted it again, so I can't actually believe it's the one I got!!!! As of today, same room number 8088, tons of 8's I don't think I can forget that one!!!! This is our third time on deck 8, first time was in 8092 right down the hall and it's so quiet back there... since it's aft no foot traffic like last years 8584, right off the aft elevators. I originally wanted 8584 since that's the room we were in when we booked, but cat 4 was in GTY. 8088 is the room I wanted for last summer, but there was only one cat 4 left, 8584, so I took it happily!!!

We have TONS of magnets left over from our cruise last summer and will be reusing most of them!! We have DCL name tags, Mickey ears for our number and tons of others!!! I'll have to go to Staples and buy more magnet paper to print out the new one here, it's BEAUTIFUL!

CONGRATS!!! That's not bad at all!!! There still seem to be tons of staterooms available, there are 4 cat 4's left, as that was the only cat except 12 that was in GTY, not bad considering.......

I too am using most of our old ones and 3 news that I got....we were in 8086 on our last cruise...it's the cat 3 next door and now as you know...we're at the end of your hall.

We are reusing the magnets from our last cruise too...I also got ears for our door number, Kate's magnet and I had one more made. It's cool that you are right down the hall from us....we were in 8086 on our last cruise. Sorry for the repost...the board gave me a fatal error and said the first one didn't post.

Hi Guys

Got our assignment. Cabin 1044, which is a Cat 9. I think it is a two porthole room!!! A great upgrade from our GTY12. OH is wanting a large porthole though (honestly men are never happy are they!!). It is almost directly underneath where we were before on Deck 2 and we loved the position, not sure about deck 1, but we have a window for free, so who cares!!!! I won't believe it until we are there!

Met my friend for coffee this morning, she is definately booking over the weekend, so that will be great she has two girls, one the same age as my dd, the other just over a year younger. We were pregnant together, so the girls have known each other all their lives.

Adsmamma, as soon as she has confirmed the same hotel, I will contact the company that transferred us in June, it was a very efficient way of getting us all there and the bus literally pulled up outside the terminal and the Disney guys took our luggage straight through. I will get an idea of cost and let you know before I book anything.

Lori great about the room, how weird is that, the same one as before!

Pixie, sorry it wasn't an outside, we had the same thing last time, I know you will be happy it is an upgrade, but still hope inside that it could be an outside. I would definately go for it at the port, we did last time and got a great room for a couple of hundred dollars, well worth it.

Glad you like the Magnet, Jordak is great, always so helpful. I am using the same ones as last time, although did get a new one with dd's name on with her favourite characters of all time Chip & Dale.

I am getting all excited now!

We did 4 years in Landstuhl. I still have great memories of my time in Germany. Loved the carnival and nightlife.

Okay, I know where that is I had friends stationed there years ago. We will be traveling in Bavaria starting next Sunday. We are up in Kaiserslautern. How long have you guys been over here? As far as touring we are looking to just hit the sights that appeal to the family. We are very laid back and this is one site that we tried not to over plan. We will definitely see the coliseum and some of the major points. We will most likely have to take a trip back to Rome to really see all there is to see.

I kept her home from camp again today. She had 103 this morning. Once she takes Motrin though she's fine and she went about 8 hours without needing anything again and only had a slight fever, but had a headache....I hate these fevers with no explanations...it's frustrating because noone knows what she has and you can't really treat it.

Hello neighbor, we are 2539 !!! Great that we got an upgrade from 12GTY to 10 but I am bummed that we didn't get a window. This is the first time I've booked without picking out the exact cabin I wanted. First time sailing without a verandah or any natural light so we will see how it goes.

I hate the random upgrade thing too - we have spent thousands on Disney cruises and Disney parks and someone going on first cruise could get better upgrade than we do?

But, how much complaining can you do when you are going on a MED CRUISE in 45 days, woo hoo !!!!!!!!!!!!

Atleast the price was right

Dang, I just read that the Magic Fountains in Barcelona do not operate on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. This was from a tourism website and not the Magic Fountains official website, I can't get that to open.

I did a month in Greece (August) back in college and we must have spent 10 hours a day out at the beach or around the islands in the Cyclades. I never remember it being too hot or uncomfortable. The nights were nice and cool. I'm hoping for the same Also, Aug is the second driest month in Rome.

OMG us too... I thought Grafenwoehr was supposed to be like siberia!!! I am not looking forward to the mediterranean heat in august to be honest!!!
