So, I got one of those lovely PIN codes in the mail, and called thinking maybe I'd change our reservations for DL to a DL resort. The mailer had DL info all over it, but lo and behold, it was a WDW code only. Can you believe that? Non-transferrable. How much money have I spent over the past few years?
Sheesh, you'd think they'd be able to convert it!

I got a pin the other day too for a $500 gift card
in my brothers name
booked a room for him once and used my email address
have had a few pins now for him , never one for me
most be for people who don't go often

So whats everyone up to this week ?
Ds is sick in bed , missing school so he is not to sad
having a very quite time here weather is cold, ran out of oil last night so woke up to a cold house but its back on now again
just home from swimming renewed my membership after christmas but with the snow and having had a bad flu have,'t used it too much
need to get back into shape for this years holiday

Had my DD home for the last two days with a fever. She finally went back to school today. It snowed again yesterday, got about 5 inches but the roads were pretty clear...so it was beautiful out...I wanted to take some pictures, but didn't have time between getting the kids off to school and heading off to work.

Don't have any vacations to look forward to in the near term...hopefully we'll decide something soon.

At home and finished painting the living room a few days ago. Looking into getting new carpet, too.
DH sick. Ugh! Men are such wussies....women get sick and still do everything else...he's barely able to get his dishes to the sink. He stayed home the past 2 days and hasn't gone outside. Incidentally, the weather is lovely! W hit 50 degrees 2 days running and saw the sun!

same type of weather...50+ degrees two days in a row and then then temperature plummeted and we had a snow storm...don't get too comfortable....LOL

So funny. My husband acknowledges his wussiness. He will forewarn me when he is getting sick and will tell me " I am going to start acting like a baby soon"

I don't know but can't wait to find out!! I gather that Palo is worth the extra $$?
So....my deep dark secret is that I'm a foodie....I LOVE to eat! And therefore......I work out....almost daily for about an hour.....ugh!!
Except today. My husband shared his cold. I'm trying my hardest to stay awake as late as I can; I work a night shift tomorrow night and need to sleep away a good part of the day tomorrow. What I'm longing to do is take a hit off the Nyquil bottle and hit my pillow!

Ok guys....give me the info on the restaurants....I can't wait to hear the reviews!!

Funny we were chatting the other day and with the rate of the dollar raising its making the cruise alot more for us
better for you though
But we still have a long way to go until we have to pay the final balance

I'm an accountant..Life is not as dire as I make it out to be, I'm just mad...working in corporate america is horrible..you work at the whim of people who think they deserve millions of $$ while cutting the salaries and benefites of those actually doing the work. I can actually go out tomorrow and double my salary based on the skills I have. My issue is flexibility. Right now I'm in a job where they need me more than I need them, so I work from home when I need to, leave early when I need to , etc...with 2 7 year olds that's worth more than money since my DH works about 1.5 hours from home...it's just that the money that I put away each week for the trip, now has to go to fund my real estate taxes, that my bonus used to fund and I don't like to travel unless I've saved up the money in advance.

Hi Jackie,

before the cruise i was concerned that we would be bored doing 6 days at sea but we had a wonderful time. disney made sure there were things to do...special guest lectures and shows, culinary demos with samples, etc. It was so relaxing to slow the pace down plus we had great weather. It also helped that we were part of a bigger group and always running into people we knew.

MY DH's favorite is Animators Palate because of the transformation that happens there (won't say more cause don't want to spoil it for first timers). We also enjoy lunch at Palo and don't forget the midnight dessert buffet.

I saw the transformation on one of the cruise shows on the Travel Channel...looks very cool!
