Captain Marvin's is not a Disney Cruise Line excursion. You can find more info about the company and the excursion itself at http://www.captainmarvins.com/ . They also take reservations over the internet. That's how Travis arranged ours and they were very prompt about sending an e-mail to confirm our spot.

No, they don't meet us at the ship but they are within walking distance. From what I've read and the emails I've gotten from Ruth at Capt. Marvins you make a left off the pier and it's just a couple of blocks down. Don't hold me to that but it's what I'm told.

I can't wait, today I was trying on all my dresses from our last cruise to make sure they still fit. I have gained a few pounds since then.

Is there a meet planned for Friday night at the Radisson?

To my knowledge, Linda, there is nothing "planned" yet. A few Disers had mentioned getting together at some point in the evening by the hotel pool. What time are you guys planning to arrive at the Radisson? Unless Delta changes our flight schedules - again - I expect we'll be there by 3pm. I am also planning to take a ride over to The Perfect Gift and meet dear Shirley and Norm and staff. Anyone/everyone is welcome to join us...

Don't ask me why, but for some reason, as much as I love this idea, I couldn't stop picturing it in my head and laughing....and you know what...I still think it's a great idea!!!

no, not singing Hi ho...but going together is a great idea! but still, the thought of it....can you imagine if Capt. Veranda (Andy) was on this same excursion???

Hey BD,

If you make it to The Perfect Gift, tell Shirley I said Hi, and that I am looking forward to meeting her the following week. We invited Shirley and Norm to come to our DISmeet around the Radisson pool the night before our cruise, and she is planning on meeting with us!!!
