This is not my favorite photo, but it is the most recent one that includes all of us -

For breakfast at CIS, I am sure nobody will miss us. I will be the frantic mother, trying to calm down 4 overly excited kids that are off the wall.
Looking forward to a parking lot meet between RI and CIS prior to the cruise. Has a time been set? I feel like if I miss this meet, I will go through the entire cruise looking at all the people around me wondering if I met them through these boards.
Oh no, I just realized our rental car may need to be returned by 10am, I hope I dont miss the meet!

we are also going. Can't wait.
We are george and brenda with 3 dss michael 15, anthony 11, and nicholas 10.
We are doing the kayaking and parasailing on one day and the snorkeling the other. We are also going to universal (haven't been in 5 years) before the cruise and akl after.
One week from today, at this time we will be in the air (hopefully) and on our way to Orlando Airport!!We have been on a lot of vacations, but for some reason, we are looking forward to this one more than any of the others in the past!! Not sure why we are
, maybe because we booked it almost 2 years ago??
Everyday I get asked if we are going to pack today?? well, today may be the actual day I pack the kids stuff up. I could probably pack most of my stuff too, but my washing machine broke down the other day and the repairman is coming on Saturday, so I still have stuff to wash that I may want to bring. I like to lay everything out that I may bring, then I pull stuff out, then I put some back, then I pull more out, then I weigh the suitcase, then I pull more out and we make the weight limit of 50lbs per bag, then we leave and while we are away I figure out that we have WAY TOO MUCH stuff and I swear that the next vacation I will learn and not pack half as much stuff!!!
Really, besides bathing suits, cover-ups, and night time clothing what else do we need...but I will pack an outfit, at least, for everyday, plus night time wear, plus some just in case clothing and I know I will have too many shoes. But, I will overpack anyway!!

Our first cruise I had broug
h 12 pairs of shoes and never wore half of them!!

Great photo...A bunch of us are planning to meet the night before at the port for dinner anyone who wants to join in please let me know!! We can all meet in the parking lot!!LOL!!!![]()

Kristin... I'm interested in dinner on Monday night. We will be at Kennedy Space Center all day and checking in after leaving there.
We are doing MK the day before and plan to drive to the port after. I have no idea what time that will be, so I have been reluctant to make any plans for the night before.
loving everyone's photos!!!
count me in as one who hates (and rarely) irons clothes! LOL
decided to upload some photos to post of us.
the first is Mark and I on his bday - I had a special disney cake made from our favorite bakery as a surprise!
the next is of the kids - Katie (11) and Josh (13)

Does anyone here scrapbook? I used to traditional scrapbook, but have really gotten into digital scrapbooking - love it!! this past month I finished the book of last August's cruise --just in time to go on another one!
anyone mind if I post some of the pages I made?
Love your photos!! Laurie, is that a cake in front of you and your husband?? I LOVE IT!!![]()
Morning Everyone! I LOVE all the photos that people have posted. It is so nice when I am able to put a face to your screen name!
Today I am feeling a bit of panic about getting everything done. I have to get my family ready to go out of town for a family reunion this weekend. We will be camping with my sister and I need to figure out the food situation as well as get packed up. We will be gone from Friday morning until Sunday night.
Next week we will be home but have things on the calendar every day. I am going to be washing clothes and finishing the packing as quickly as I can though. The whole time I pack, I plan on chanting...."I will not overpack, I will not overpack!" People will just have to find other things to wear.
Kristin - Morning! About what time are we thinking of meeting on Monday night at the pool?
As a follow-up to the rebooking question I have a tip that may save you some time. Normally when rebooking you choose a date and category that doesn't matter so you choices are kind of irrelevant. My point being, there really isn't any need to sit down with the on-board sales person.
If you are booking a dummy date then just call the sales desk extension, tell them who you are, what you want, and tell then to put the deposit on the stateroom account. If you want a TA to have the reservation them in the message include that information.
For instance, I will call and tell them to put us on the 12/08/2012 Magic sailing in a category 9 (at the moment the least expensive) with cruise insurance, charge it to my room and give the reservation to All Seasons Travel. Done! No waiting in line at the sales desk for an hour or more to book a date I don't intend to keep.
Keep in mind that your deposit is 10% so when booking a dummy date it makes sense to choose an inexpensive cruise. Typically the beginning of December is very reasonable.

yep, it's a special cake I had made for my hubby and son - their bdays are one day apart, and it was a big bday for both - 13 and (gulp) 50 - though you'd never know it!!
