Here is a link to the graphics specifically for this cruise: http://www.4shared.com/folder/84uSX91A/Aug_16_Dream.html

Here is a link to all my autograph graphics, mostly the same but undated .. http://www.4shared.com/folder/GSMfqsSI/Disney_Autograph_Pages.html

You can download and use the grahics as you wish. I did not actually design the images or the backdrops, I just put them together on the autograph page.

If you have any questions please let me know. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them.

I think I got all the characters, Alice and Wendy were not on the last cruise so probably are not going to be there and I heard conflicting information about Rapunzel =)

Julie

Do you have any info on where the images came from? I had downloaded them a long time ago and can't find the owner/images anymore. THANK YOU for sharing!!!!

I am trying to work on planning Day 1:
11 AM Arrive at port
12 PM Lunch (if boarded)
1 PM Spa Tour
~1:30 PM Go find cabin

~1:30/2 PM DIS Meet <--Is this planned yet? If so, where/when?
~2/2:30 PM Cabin Tour (from Deck 13 Forward/Port side)

~3/3:30 PM Go find family
4 PM Lifeboat Drill
4:30 PM Sailaway Party
6 PM Show
8 PM Dinner
(please correct me on the dinner/show times if they are wrong)

Thanks for this! I'm still trying to wrap my head around a schedule. I know there are 3 show times, so you may be assigned the 3rd time. I can't remember the specific times right now, though.

Congrats on the job, Jen. Our HS students are all getting ipads this year. I know the district is really psyched.

What time does boarding actually start? Trying to figure out when we should arrive...thanks!!

Since June, I've been obsessively checking excursion availability for 2 double jet skis. We are newbies and by the time we could reserve excursions, the doubles were gone. This morning, 2 became available so I snagged them. Thank you to whoever released them!

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

YES, you DO!!! ;) I can't say enough about this. I will never pack without it again. It holds SOOOOO much and packs flat and hangs.

I'd say embarkation day is probably not good for a group photo.

I read through most of the trip report Kristin posted yesterday. O.M.G!!!! There is so much I didn't/don't know! I had no idea there was mini golf. I also saw a bunch of things I want for my house (AP knives, EG bread baskets like Cindy's carriage, the black MM tiles in AP? the MM chairs in AP, etc). I syill have a lot more reading in that post, but five days is not long enough. Think I can stow away on one of the lifeboats for a few cruises?

Congrats on the weight loss. Congrats on the PT. Sounds like healing is happening just in time for most everyone!

I got my lanyard today. THANK YOU!!! It looks great.

The breadbaskets are soo cute!!

Hi everyone, getting closer to sail date .. yeah !!!

For the last 3 cruises I have made custom autograph books for all the kids in the FE group. Unfortunetly this cruise group is just too big to be able to do this. I still made the autograpah books for my own kids and thought I would share them for anyone who wishes to use them.

Since I am only making 2 this time I personalized the cover pages for my kids and I can do this for others if desired, just PM me which cover and the name.

I usually put the images in a word doc (which you can find in the first link). The images are arranged 2 to a page. I then print and trim them. Once done I use my binding machine to punch the holes and put on a binder comb. I usually use th 65lb cardstock to print them since it gives them more durability.

If you have any questions please let me know. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them.

Julie,

I love your pages!!

I think the choice of date and time for the group photo is between the following:

1. Tuesday the 16th @ 3:30

2. Friday the 19th @ 7:30 (Pirate night)

A couple comments on these choices. Pirate night is up to the discretion of DCL. Although scheduled for Friday night, based on weather conditions that may change so scheduling a Pirate night photo in the atrium may not work out if Pirate night isn't Friday (just a thought).

Secondly, I decided on 7:30 instead of 7:00 only because the atrium is right outside the Royal Palace, but not everybody in our group will be eating there so leaving Animators Palette or the Enchanted Garden to get to the atrium will take a little longer. The hope is that most folks with main dining will be done eating and can get to the atrium by 7:30.

Feedback please,

Jeff

Either time works for us. THank you for organizing this. Please let me know if you need any help.

CONGRATS JEN!!

Not a star...it is nothing when you are doing it for a friend... I am just so excited to see the two of you and share this wonderful vacation together! :yay:

I know that I have more days then you but I also have to get motivated to really finalizing the details of packing and get a move on!

I am off to have my nails done but have big news....I will share it briefly here.....I HAVE A NEW JOB!

The principal at the school that I have been working at asked if I would teach a class next year instead of being the Technology Integration Specialist. The class is going to be called iPad University. Students will be using their iPads and all the other computers and technology we have to work on projects. The theme of the class is "How can you change the world?" I get to design the whole curriculum and teach the class. I am so excited because it has great benefits, it will be exciting to teach such a innovative new class, and I love the school. :yay::yay::yay: This means I will spend the next 3 weeks writing curriculum as quickly as possible so that I am ready for my students on the first day of school. I will see students for 1 hour a day, each day for 9 weeks and then get a new group of students. By the end of the year, all 800 students will have had my class. Our goal is to use the iPads to connect them to the world and work on projects they are passionate about. Lots of new stuff!!!

Alright, time to get ready to go to the spa for my nails!

Congratulations on the new job!!!!

Ginny

I vote for Friday too, but since there won't be a character does it matter which day we do it? Will they use one of our cameras too or just theirs?

Jen, Congrats on the new job, nothing like throwing that at you right before your vacation! :scared1: Still, sounds like a great job, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Evening Everyone!

I am totally just getting so excited. Tonight DH and I did some shopping....we found tan dress pants for DS so he does not have to wear capris :rotfl2: and I got the most beautiful cocktail dress on clearance! :woohoo:

DD came home from dance and packed up a few things. I threw a few more things in the suitcases as well. :cool1:

It just feels great! We also decided tonight that we ARE going to dress up for pirate night but we are going to use the bits and pieces of costumes we already have and improvise from there. We have plenty to work with and I feel good about this decision. pirate:

I know we need to throw in a power strip....can anyone tell me if it needs to be anything special or if I can just throw in any old one?

Thanks to everyone for all the well wishes about the new job. I am so excited that my principal asked me to take this new job. I love the school and the staff and so it is a great fit. I wasn't looking to change jobs but this opportunity is too good to pass up. :thumbsup2 I will be spending a lot of time working on the curriculum writing until we go but am just excited with all the possibilities.

Jen. Per Keith , the fire fighter, the power strip should be UL underwriters laboratory rated.

Congrats on the new job. Maybe you can teach me a few things on mine. :goodvibes

Ok, the choice of Friday night @ 7:30 appears to be almost unanimous, the last decision is where. I'll ask Concierge for suggestions and be happy to take any from the group.

Please tell Keith, the fire fighter, thank you for ensuring our safety. I will be sure we have the approved and correctly rated power strip! ;)

I spoke with Concierge and they told me the following:

1. The photo would be available to purchase with the CD.

2. A character is possible, the rate is $550 a half hour (my guess is we're passing on this).

3. A Pirate night photo is fine @ 7:30, but not in front of the atrium since that area is very busy then. Concierge suggested another location like on-deck somewhere.

Wow! I cannot believe DCL is charging $550. Last year we only had to pay just the $85. I wonder what has changed. :confused3 Thank you again for getting all of the information.

Thank you for posting the links to your autograph pages. They are beautiful.

1. There is a minimum height requirement for single riders on the AquaDuck -- if riding solo, you must be at least 54 inches tall. The minimum height requirement for kids is 42 inches. Also, kids must be at least 7 years old to ride alone. If they are not 7 or older, then they must ride with someone 14 or older.

2. The AquaDuck always has a minimum wait of 20 minutes posted. This is simply because the wait time is on a wheel whose times start at 20 (and subsequently go in five minute increments to 60). So how do you know if the wait time is really 20 minutes? You can just ask the crew member at the ride’s entrance. One crew member said an easy way to guess is to look at the staircase that’s out in the open. If passengers reach the lowest platform on the stairs, it’s 40 minutes. When you can barely see someone at the top of the steps, right before it goes inside, it’s about 15-20 minutes. If you can’t see anyone at the top, it’s a 15 minute wait at most.

3. The stairs/deck leading to the AquaDuck can get very hot so leave your shoes on. Once you get to the top you will have to take them off but the CMs will allow you to sit on them during the ride.

4. Midship Detective Agency (the Enchanted Art Game) is an interactive game which uses augmented reality technology to take you on a ship-wide tour of the enchanted art to solve a whodunit mystery featuring several Disney villains. Here’s your tip: Other than two decks, the enchanted art you need to visit alternate between the Forward and the Aft of the ship as you move up and down decks. Don’t make that journey for each deck, but simply do every other deck at one time. So for example, if you go to 5 Aft, just continue to 7 Aft, 9 Aft, etc., then cross the ship (maybe even on one of the mid-ship levels) and do the same on the Forward side. Also note that the game is only operational from 9 am – 9 pm as a courtesy to fellow passengers (it does get a bit loud).

I also read the following here on the Disboards so let me know if this is incorrect:
5. The cabin doors for concierge staterooms are not magnetic.

If anyone wants these tips and more in a Word document, I will email them to you. Just send me a PM with your email address.

Jen-- Congratulations on the new job! That is so exciting! I would love to hear what kind of ideas you come up with for that curriculum.

Question: Is there a complete list of all of the DIS cruisers (including stateroom # and DISname)? I have the list from my FE group (I think we are #2), but I know there is also all of FE #1 and the FE #3 and non-FE people. Would it be possible to compile such a list? (We had a fun little "gift" tradition on our last cruise that I would like to continue if possible.) Thanks!
